    What build would you say is the tankiest but able to do endgame when invested into? Pref 1h and shield (pref league start viable but not required)

    Ever since I've picked up a lot of high level shields I have fallen in love with their art style and design and I just want to find a build I can utilize one. I'm also sick of dying for many reasons so if I can take a couple hits and not die I'd be in love. Also if it's not complex I'd appreciate it as I'm not very good at the game just yet.

    3.14 boss killer league start

    So after playing almost all league in 3.13 it's pretty apparent that the invitations are really good currency and I've actually come to love bossing a lot towards the end of the league, however the character I've been using is more suited as a mapper so for next league I want to league start a boss killer.

    I was considering a couple builds

    Some sort of miner (ball lightning gc etc something with good single target and okay clear would be nice)

    A tanky bleed glad that I'd invest a lot into

    Some sort of ascendant using mana shenanigans as long as it's doesn't get nuked in the patch notes

    Finally a pathfinder maybe bv? I've played an ascendant using the pathfinder ascendancy and it was really nice having constant flask up time so I want to try one.

    Any suggestions or input from anyone whose played these builds would be appreciated !

    EQ Implae league starter

    Hi, looking for advice/help/a guide for EQ Champ?

    I've seen people throw darkees name around a lot, does he post guides or anything anywhere? I know he killed maven with it, and Ziz copy pasted his character for build week, but does a good guide exist anywhere? Looking for advice on how to start and how to learn about scaling it

    Poe... the One Build?

    If you were to recommend one build that could get from league start to league end with a goal of 40/40, lvl 100, all content, and balance map speed with boss killing what would it be? Why? And link PoB or guide?

    Oh, and with the caveat that I have 1-2h max to play per day with a family and a job :)

    Does such a thing exist?

    Does Chill or Temporal Chains increase the duration of stuns on enemies?

    I can find very old posts that claim it does/doesn't, but has any actually played with stun mechanics and seen whether it occurs since the last round of stun changes?

    tl;dr - I'm trying to see if I can get stuns so long that it doesn't matter that the enemy becomes immune for 4 seconds after being stunned. So far just off "chance to double stun" and stun duration I can 3.5-4 seconds on a non-Ruthless attack and 8-10 seconds on a Ruthless attack.

    If Chill and/or Temporal Chains work, I could maybe get that up another 3-5 seconds.

    Cyclone starter

    Hey guys, ignored cyclone long enough, looking to start next league with it, any recommendations on how to level, when to swap etc? Was thinking duelist, either champ or slayer, which would better suit my needs? Plan to shake it up and do some delve, nothing too deep, like 500+ for starters, will also try and make some bank from heist, alongside usual mapping. Haven't had potent enough build in 3.13 to do maven and her EG invitations so it would be cool if build could handle bosses too. So things i would like to accomplish: - delve 500 - maven - a8+ sirus - maven - maven boss invitations

    I know there are a ton of cyclone guides, but wanted to ask for opinions here too. Thanks exiles

    What are some good one button builds for Blighted maps?

    Looking for a build you can just sit in the middle of a blighted map and hold right click.

    I know you can do minions but I'm trying to think of something other than that.

    Preferably not aura-stacking.

    Need help transitioning a EQ Bleed Glad to a Lacerate Bleed Glad

    Is full white triads grip OP or is it just a flavor item?

    Hi, as the title suggests, I was wondering if it was worth trying to make a build around the triads grip gloves. I'm quite new to minion builds however, so I would like as much help as I can get.

    It seems to me that the direct opponent to triads grip would be impale, as physical minion builds often times use impale to bolster their dps. How much damage does that amount to and can triads gloves compete?

    LF a build I can train for 3.14 league start

    Hello, I am looking for a build I can train before 3.14 will launch. I know it's kinda early to assume which one will be playable before patch notes, but let's try it. It needs to be league start to endgame meaning being able to clear everything when invested into. Also preferring more tankiness over damage as I hate dying. Clear should be on the middle faster side. I was thinking about minions, cold vortex or maybe LL mines.

    Need help with Indigon Miner (Akane's)

    Hi guys...am new to Indigon and MoM so have no idea what i'm doing here. I have almost no dmg and die to anything that even looks at me. I have to admit that cos i have no knowledge on MoM and the Indigon style i literally copied his build...and failed horribly.

    Any advanced tips/opinions on Death's Oath?

    I'm working on my variation and looking for help. I know it's not going to be an S tier or maybe A tier build but it has become my favorite and I'm obsessed with it since Legion. I'm out of ideas on how could this be better and even doubting if I'm making some bad decisions.

    Here's my "Research PoB" where I play around and try to balance and try things out with reasonably high end gear (no double influence or elevated mods for example).

    Trying new stuff such as EB to reserve all my mana and solve any sustain issues in 3 points (ES is useless otherwise), pushing all the way to Wind Dancer, to compliment Dodge mechanics, and all ailment avoidance (80%). It's immune to shock, freeze, chill, bleed, crit damage, curses and maybe stun if I pick Vile Bastion instead of Malediction.

    The main weak spot I fear is Phys damage reduction, that's why I'm trying Aspect of the Crab instead of Spider and the minimum endurance charges on rings, pantheon...

    I'm not sure why people use dread banner if using F&S and having no evasion to scale the less accuracy, so I'm happy using Vitality to solve life sustain and reach over 500hp regen instead (and it's easy to gradually reserve all my mana)

    I'm also doubting on cluster jewels and what would be better and what flasks to use.

    Here's the actual real build if you want to check it out, far from perfect but managed to do most late game bosses fairly easily so it's promising :)

    A quick note on some quirks on the "Research PoB" to make gear testing easier (at least for me):

    - Death's Oath has +0-50% all resist implicit to fill in resistances from the rest of the gear
    - Glorious Vanity & Intuitive Leap (mandatory jewels) hold the 10% Chill & Shock Avoid enchants so that I only have to craft one generic rare jewel to slot in all free sockets.
    - Cluster jewels are named X - Y - Z + Type (as in Large - Med - Small + Aura/Chaos/Curse)

    Summoner build for SSF without spectres or Animate Guardian/Weapon

    I know about Spectre banking and whatnot, I just really don't like the concept of Spectres or summoning from items. I like the concept of pure builds like pure skeletons or maybe even hybrid skeletons/zombies, and there are numerous guides to this end, but pretty much all of them include Spectres or Animates anyway as support. I want a build that literally just doesn't use these gems at all. What are my options?

    Did some poe.ninja searches and did find a handful of people running this kind of build.     Help with explosive trap build. (Open to swapping to different/better traps).

    Hey guys I just started theory crafting an explosive trap build. I'm still fairly new so could use some guidance. Ritual was my second league. The items are whatever, I just put in semi-random stuff. Some buddies of mine like to do rippy private leagues at the end of the league. I am trying to make it SSF/league start and possibly HC/rippy added modifier viable. So I need to do it with no-very limited and common uniques. Thinking about working zealotry in somehow instead of herald of ash, and maybe dropping either the flammability or enfeeble. Or pathing to whispers of doom but then idk what I should drop to get there. I'd like to work in chainbreaker for if I manage to farm it out and I have a tree for that as well.     Crit Firestorm Arcanist Brand build idea

    Hi all, I've put together a PoB that I'm planning on league starting with (pending patch notes, of course). The build is a crit Arcanist Brand Firestorm Necro, with cast speed ramped by Corpse Pact and Eye of Innocence, to scale the first impact DPS. Why? Because I'm addicted to EoI and actually enjoy both Firestorm and Arcanist Brand (which are effectively totems that don't die).

    I'm hoping to get some feedback to see if there are any obvious ways to make this stronger. Current build target DPS per brand is ~900K, without any corpse pact stacks. The goal is to keep the build very cheap. I'd even consider dropping the EoI gimmick and using a different class/ascendancy if it would yield substantially more toughness/DPS.

    To level it, I'm going to run the typical spellslinging setup until I can save up enough chaos for an EoI, then make the switch. Everything else in the build is pretty easy to do as incremental upgrades (Martyr, clusters, anomalous gems, etc.).

    Looking for fast melee league starter build that plays like Diablo 2 Assassin martial art build

    I'm a newish player with a lightning witch up to act 5 now. Recently I did a Diablo 2 marathon and really feel like recapturing my melee assassin build in PoE. What sort of skills should I look for that allows for a speedy build and still cheap to gear?

    Mitigating Dark Pact Arcanist Brand

    After messing about with some ideas for Dark Pact, I decided to try and put them on Arcanist Brand with the help of Astral Projector.

    My biggest concern is actually mitigating the 6% life sacrifices which would stack up really quickly to kill me. I've gone with Occultist mostly for the chaos damage, but that leaves me with some rather lackluster life leech / regen (and flat life in general).

    In addition to using brands for clear, I added Witchhunter's Judgment for single target dps. Since it incrementally increases the brand trigger rate even more, I think there's no chance of surviving it without a full bar of life flasks.

    For example:

    4000 hp * -6% = -240 hp/trigger 3.0 trigger/s * -240 = -720 hp/s per brand -720 * 4 brands = -2880 hp/s total 

    Accounting for Brandsurge's effect after just 2 secs (25% + 25%/0.5s increased brand trigger rate):

    25% + (25%/0.5 * 2.0) = 125% -2880 * (100% + 125%) = -6480 hp/s. 

    Unless my math is wrong, yikes! I see two ways of doing this:

    • Use something like MOM/Agnostic + Watcher's Clarity mod + Enduring flask to sacrifice all mana, and Hierophant to have some proximity to damage passives
    • Dropping Brandsurge completely and running max 2-3 brands (painful?)

    Best League Starter for 6Man Maven Bossing?

    If GGG keeps party witness' which builds would be able to be strong / tanky enough to do 6 man hp Feareds? I would assume you probably wont get enough dmg to insta melt 6 man hp before 1/2 weeks so which builds could do it without DPS cheezing it? Preferably be reflect immune to do Uber Atziri as well. Or just do it with an Aura bot and all your defences are settled? Mines/Traps/Totems for reflect immune?

    Was thinking elementalist for reflect immune and some semblance of tankiness, BA elementalist looks like such a smooth league starter but i'm not sure if the damage is good enough for 6man hp before you get killed.
