| How does Explosive Arrow's explosion crit works? Posted: 14 Jun 2021 04:06 AM PDT I want to play crit explosive arrow (hit based, not ignite), but I'm not so sure how crit works with this skill. If i read patch notes right skill work like this: each arrow rolls crit chance, then all damage from arrows is summarized including crit calculations. Explosion will crit if one of the arrows rolled crit, but explosion can't be scaled with crit multi since it was already done before with summarizing arrows damage. Why I am asking is I want to play slayer and I don't know if should get base crit node. [link] [comments]  |
| Refining Vaal GS, low life Champion build. 50m DPS Posted: 14 Jun 2021 03:51 AM PDT Hello everyone, I have come to a point in my build, where crafting the perfect gear is my only next logical increment was wondering if anyone could go over my POB to bring some ideas as to where I should focus and if there are some glaring mistakes along the way. It is my first season, so my knowledge of the game and it's seemingly endless possibilities may have kept me away from some must-haves I have just switched my pathing and focus on crit now. As a consequence gone down to 6.2 k life instead of 7.8. It is palpable, but I almost doubled my damage in the process and is sitting at about 50 mil with all the bells and whistles. Overall the character is a lot of fun to play. You bonk all mobs but struggle against bosses that aren't in maps (Since you have no Souls from start) Have 15ex which I plan on making the boots and then rolling on the chest until I hit curse and no other prefix, so I can Aisling inc. life + craft life POB: https://pastebin.com/L69rEPaK In advance, thank you PS: Hateforge would be bonkers since you could fit another flask and have permanent up time on your VAAL skill. Aside from obvious options like 21 gems ( on my way to do that) and my white flasks (don't know what should put on them. Probably cast speed) I think the curse should be changed to projectile ? I seem to have extra space for more skills ( 3 free sockets) vaal RF is an obvious choice I think. My main problem currently is that my mana regen isn't high enough so can't stand in place and clear valdo packs or kill bosses because once I get in a pinch(low mana after taking damage because of agnostic) I'm pretty fucked and can't recover. I thought about ditching wrath and going for supreme ego but I doubt 15 mana per second is going to fix any problem. [link] [comments]  |

In the mechanics section I realized that the ancestral call gem (later replaced with the +1 strike skill target mod on Hunter influenced gloves) is very crucial to the success of the build. It essentially is a 100% more multiplier for single target, and also smooths mapping by a LOT. I love it. My concern is that whether or not the single target gimmick, which you stand at a distance from the boss so that your LS doubles the DPS, has been an intended behavior. I'm a bit scared that GGG will get rid of that trick without buffing LS and "accidentally" gimp the strike skills again lol. Also, I noticed that ancestral call has MTX effects, does anyone know if those are also applicable to the gloves mod like how soul mantle totem support allows MTX? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
| What are some must try builds before league end? Posted: 13 Jun 2021 04:14 PM PDT This is my first league. I started as bb/bf inquisitor, switched to coc ice nova assassin. And before the end of my first league I want to try at least another build. I originally wanted to try burning arrow elementalist, as it seems likely to be nerfed somehow, but didn't have the funds. Now I have ~50 ex, and can generally farm well enough for a higher budget. What are some good builds to try ? (Burning Arrow isn't still out t he running yet) PS. sorry for how broad the question is, but I do want to know what different people's ideas of a must try build would look like [link] [comments]  |

I just feel weak.... weapon range 🙅♂️ heavy downtime due to sentinels expiring 🙅♂️ t-Rex arm damage from skill itself so maintaining sentinels once again feels like a chore instead of zoom zoom clear. 🗑🙅♂️ is it me? | Why is no one using Dancing Duo with unarmed builds? Posted: 13 Jun 2021 07:18 PM PDT According to the wiki and a few forum posts, once rampage starts and the swords manifest, you count as having no weapons equipped. Even for builds which get absolutely no damage or utility out of the minions, this seems like free onslaught and rampage. The minions even maintain rampage against bosses on their own, since they have a 25% chance to give rampage kill each time they hit a unique enemy. Admittedly this wouldn't work on bosses like Sirus, but you can just weapon swap to empty weapons and you're sorted. Writhing jars are also an option, though that eats up two flask slots admittedly. Am I missing something? Or is it just the annoyance of racking up 15 kills when you start a map? [link] [comments]  |

I am trying to make this my boss killer, and wants to lvl him up to lvl94 or 95 via mapping and stuff. | Help With CoC Ice Spear APS Please Posted: 13 Jun 2021 03:35 PM PDT Hi guys, I'm currently trying to set up a CoC ice spear build on pob before swapping over. Currently whenever i put boots with tailwind on my dps drops significantly. From what I understand I need more cooldown recovery rate on cyclone and assume this is the issue. If i put awakened coc into this it seems to resolve the issue and i end up gaining 160k~ dps. Could anyone recommend how to fix this without having to use Awakened CoC? I saved up to 25/30 exalt again to reinvest I feel i should have more damage at this point but dont really know what to do or invest in at this point. I already swapped to a different skill tree and feel i got some more dmg out of it but i feel i cant really do anything more. If you have tips please share! | Posted: 13 Jun 2021 02:34 PM PDT Hello all and thank you for any help given. This is currently only my 2nd season playing and I still only feel like I understand about a 1/4 of what I need to do to progress. I have really zero idea about harverst or the syndicate let alone any kind of crafting. I have started watching Zizaran's PoE University videos to try and learn more. Any ways I am struggling killing some of the bosses I think they are, like Sirus completely destroyed me where I didn't even understand how to avoid all the bolts he shot at me since they covered then entire screen. Also didn't even stand a chance on 2 T16 maps ( Forge of the Phoenix and Maze of the Minotaur ) or at least the bosses for both of the maps. I guess I need a bossing toon? I also have zero idea on how to make currency, I see these posts with 100s of exalt for budget and I have seen 1 exalt since the start of the season lol. Here is my PoB hopefully I did this correctly I started off following Von Viktons Skele Mage guide but again don't really know how to progress my character beyond where it currently is. Not sure if there is just a build that can tank all damage that requires like 50 chaos to build for bossing or what but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you [link] [comments]  |
