| Help with Lightning Strike Raider Posted: 06 Jun 2021 01:04 AM PDT Hey guys, I'm having trouble figuring out why my LS raider is so weak. I rerolled from my Hollow Palm infernal blow raider and sold my gear to get the funds for this build, but it just seems so much weaker than I thought it would be. I'm definitely tankier, but my damage has fallen off a cliff. What am i doing wrong, and how can i improve it? I have around 10 ex in raw currency, and maybe 2-3 more once I sell some more items. | Posted: 05 Jun 2021 03:23 PM PDT Playing Dang's hollow palm build and I love the zoomies, clear speed and pretty much everything about it except the survivability in really tough fights. I couldn't do shaper at lvl94 for example- I know the build can do it but I just suck at boss fights and get caught in something or another and die even with the insane damage. So that got me wondering, what is the tankiest build out there for bossing on a budget? Something forgiving of people like me who suck at bossing, and make mistakes. | How can I make my summon skeleton build better ? Posted: 06 Jun 2021 04:00 AM PDT Hi there ! I'm a new PoE player, started playing right this league. My first build is a skeleton mage build, so I can focus on learning mobs and boss patterns before switching to more dynamic builds. I've been following a friend's advice for th skills and items, and, according to him, it's supposed to be a good build for clearing, tanking and bossing, but I find myself unable to clear anything that's not maps (Can't kill Sirus, can't complete Maven map challenges... So on and so on.). Could anyone try and see what's wrong with my build, if there are items I could swap or skills, maybe ? | Warcry Slam builds, looking for help/advice Posted: 06 Jun 2021 04:00 AM PDT Decided to dash out all my money for an end of league slammer, have around 350-400ex so im looking to go all in. Ive never had the urge to play a slammer besides now, so im fairly new when it comes to the mechanics and understanding the potential. Ive been watching some youtube videos and comparing some of the profiles with poe.ninja. Its been fairly confusing because some eq slammers in particular may have 10mil or so on the video's build and still only manage to do reasonable dps against sirus or invitations where as one of the highest dps ranking build on ninja only has around 5mil making me wonder if this build is even good at farming end game bosses.Keeping in mind of course that i also want to be fairly tanky with 7k+ hp and an overall hp hit pool of possibly 120k. Eq, ground slam, earthshatter even the ascendancy choices have been fairly difficult. I know beserker can offer some good mapping speed but i dont trust it to be that tanky and champ is a little bit opposite. The one thing i have decided for sure is that i want to use the call of steel with blood of steel. That looks insane for clear. Also not so sure about the whole rage/berserk thing especially with champ and the timeless jewel, heard it got nerfed pretty bad. Im probably going to go ahead an buy a 1k+ pdps axe tonight and hopefully this build doesnt suck as much despite of what i end up going for however, i would appreciate any help or tips. Posted: 05 Jun 2021 06:38 PM PDT Hi, I've played couple of character (BFBB Occultist, EleHit Raider) so far in SSF ultimatum up to t13 maps. The damage of those builds are fine so far but since they are all evasion based I keep getting 1 shot from time to time. I checked some reviews about EDC and it seems like it is tankier but lacks in single target damage. My question is if EDC's single target (probly with Blight) will be enough to down A8 or even reach Maven as a stretch goal in SSF for an endgame noob like me? Thanks. However looking at POE ninja, most of the build use regular raise zombie gems. Why is that? Posted: 05 Jun 2021 07:13 AM PDT Is there anything that has crazy damage scaling, around 10-15ex in costs and does like 5m-6m dps with single skill and is fast as fuck and can incorporate inspired learnings? If not, what would be closest thing to that? Not opposed to "melee" (e.g. CoC/CwC), just want something that clears screens fast and is generally easy to get 5-6m dps on. I've seen some Lightning Strike builds (just LS, not Vaal LS) and also Ele Hit - both on Raider, but from videos it seemed like they're doing shit damage, mobs didn't die in 1-hit. | Can anyone help me out with build suggestion ? (Info in thread) Posted: 05 Jun 2021 11:38 AM PDT Hey all ! So I have a lancing steel impale champ that has all the workings. Bottled faith watchers eye +2 impale gem, onslaught/elusive/tailwind crit multi when around rare, ryslatha belt, paradoxical etc etc. I'm at about 22 mil dps and level 94 but the issue I keep having is that it's a bit too squishy for my liking. 6k health 50 dodge attack and spell 20 evade. I want to know would transitioning this gear over to a newley leveled cyclone impale gladiator fulfil my needs. My goal is to hit 99-100 by the end of the league and too try out a new build ! I should have alot of the gear required to make cyclone impale glad work. I saw some high block glads be basically immortal but I wanted to get anyone with relavant experience to chime in. I haven't yet leveled a new toon but I am going to after work today start it and wanted opinions. I could either sell the gear and level something completely unrelated to impale dmg or transfer alot of this gear and make it work with what I already have. Have about 7ex in the bank atm.
