    'It's only a game'.

    Path of Exile has meant a lot to me. More than just a game - It helped me over the years get through many dark days. Battling drug addiction, depression, pain, anxiety... PoE was an escape that brought some joy to my life.

    I met a lot of great people over the years. Some still online occasionally, others moved on completely.

    In my 7 years playing this game, I mostly just happily lone-wolfed my way thru the game. Made 100+ builds, enjoying the music, atmosphere, exploration.

    Along the way, meeting a few players that embraced me and helped me. I can't thank you enough. Those small moments of joy were enough to turn a painful day into a giant sigh of relief.

    I still love the game but this league was the least I've played in 7 years. Not out of burnout, but strangely - sadness.

    I have never felt more alone logging into Path of Exile. Sometimes I would just stand in my hideout not knowing what to do, looking at my stash tabs, sorting things. Hoping maybe an old friend would log back on.

    Last night, as lame as it sounds, I cried. The joy I use to feel in this game was replaced with sadness and loneliness. The exact opposite of how I use to feel entering this world.

    It feels like it is time for me to move on. I will cherish this game forever, the people I met along the way with all my heart - but in the end. 'It's only a game'.

    I just made my first character I'm brand new to the game and still haven't even left the first area where u get ur sword because at the end of a part on the map there is s big red wall that I can't pass through and problem is I've killed all the enemies before the wall and looted/broke all chest and barrels plus did all the instructions it told me to do inventory wise am I missing something or is it a glitch?

    Hey GGG, can we get the option to toggle quartz infusions perma-phasing effect on and off?

    This could also be a cool change for any other sort of ascendancy based character effects, like the Elementalists Aegis or Champions Perma-Fortify. I really loved the ghostly look of permanent phasing, and while I get not everyone does, i think it could be a neat toggle :)
