Trying to find build guide for CI Bow Aura Stacking Spectre Necro build, anyone know?

    Posted: 08 Jul 2021 01:38 AM PDT

As title says, I found some toons on poe ninja that are spectres CI that mostly use Victario's Influence, Vivinsect, Soul Strike aura stacking/mana reservation gear/jewels and a 6L bow.

    Here's what I mean:

    Builds - Ultimatum - poe.ninja

I am trying to find a build guide or video on that build but I am not having any luck. I'd just like to find some more info other than just copying someone from poe ninja if possible.

Anyone know the source of that build? Thanks!

Poison BV Assassin | Super fast clear on a tiny budget - a quick league starter guide.

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 06:54 AM PDT

Since the new league is coming up and everyone is looking for a super fast BUDGET boss killer tank that can clear all content for 50C, I thought I'd share the build I league started Ultimatum with, that got me to A8 and with which I cleared most of the content in the game (Shaper, Elder, Sirus, Cortex, some invitations) by day 4 of the league.

The Poison BV Assassin is not a new build at all, you can find dozens of detailed build guides online for it and I'd recommend you to check them out if you want to push this build as far as it can go. This will be a short leaguestart guide for the build, the way I did it this league.

Disclaimer: This build has amazing clear and can deal with most content, but it is a dodge and evasion based build for the most part, so it is still prone to getting one shot, especially with the lower level gear. Once you get Mistwall and Kintsugi, the survivability goes up by a lot, but one shots can still happen.

    PoB: https://pastebin.com/ZNJm7xbD

The PoB has 2 gear setups, the "Default" is super budget (less than 1 ex on day 2), but it can cut through maps like, well, like a BV build does. The "Better gear" is slightly better gear, still fairly cheap (5-20ex) but it adds a lot of survivability and damage.

There are also some other items for most slots which I've used very early on, like wands and rings I've picked up while leveling. Personally, I don't like to rush league start, I take 6-10 hours to finish the campaign, but I usually engage in the league content to farm some currency on the way and even trade a bit while doing so.

    Leveling early on:

Caustic arrow is probably the most popular choice, but Ethereal Knives can be a good alternative, use whatever you like. Pick up BV when you can to start leveling it, but I wouldn't switch until level 55/6. Get Coralito's Signature as soon as you can. As for Ascendancies, get Noxious strike first. After that, it's kinda up to you, Toxic delivery for more damage or Mistwalker for your first real layer of defense.

    Self-poison:

From level 55, you can pick up the Temptation Step, which gives a bunch of movement speed and some nice extra damage while you are poisoned. To run self-poison, you need a few more things: The Golden Rule and Maw of Conquest. Also, try to pick up a 5/6L around this time, or a tabula.

    Weapons:

At 56, you can get dual Obliterations. They also cost a few c, but you can run with them until red maps. They explode shit for you. Alternatively, at 58 you can use dual Bino's Kitchen Knife to spread the poison, with that you can also use my favourite movement skill: whirling blades. You can get fortify with that! At 62, you can upgrade to dual CiP, but they tend to be fairly expensive early on and drop off in a day or 2, so you might be better off waiting a bit and running with one of the former 2. If you run obliterations, replace the whirling blades setup with flame dash.

Once you get the Default setup running, you are good to go for a while. I got up to like 16 watchstones with that setup, before I decided to upgrade my gear. You can do this gradually, just make sure to get rid of the self-poison setup all at once.

Further upgrades, the price of these can vary a between 2 and 5ex in the first couple of days.

Devouring Diadem: Allows you to run all 3 auras, before that you need to disable some of them, I ran Purity+Agony with low level precision and vitality while leveling.

Impresence: Allows you to run Despair as an aura + DoT

Circle of Nostalgia: You can find decent ones for really cheap, but you can easily pick up some insanely good ones for 1-2 ex. If you'd need some tips on finding a decent one, leave a comment and I'll share how I usually do it.

    Replica Mistwall: Lots of survivability

Kintsugi: Even more survivability (this one is 6-8ex rather than 5, I actually ran with the rare chest in the PoB until A8)

Once you reach this point, it's up to you how you continue. I decided to level another build because I got burned out from farming the atlas, but you can push the build even further with clusters and better gear. This was just a short guide on how to get started with it. glhf!

For those that hate frames, smooth gameplay, and visual clarity I present Arcanist Brand DD

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 09:49 PM PDT

    Gonna put the TL;DR here:
    The POB: https://pastebin.com/L7zVzRiZ
    The YT Showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ScCX3_xc6Y

    About the build:
    - Elem vs Necro is mostly personal preference. Necro is probably better at the top end since it scales with minion damage and your defenses are mostly block which has several good abilities linked with it whereas the Elem build is scaling mostly via golem buffs and stripping resistances.
    - Build still has a fairly good amount of upgrading that can be done, which is nice.
    - The build scales insanely hard with cast speed. Get as much of it as you can.
    - Spectres are Stoneskin Flayer and Lithomancer, both of which are obtained from primal ruins in delve. If you can't get those, use Auto-Enforcer and Guard Captain which are both obtained in Heist, Auto-Enforcer from tunnels/repository and Guard Captain from mansion/records office.
    - Build is currently on standard because I'm done with ultimatum and wanted to re-do one o fmy favorite builds as elementalist now instead of the former necro that it was.

    But...Why?
Because I wanted to screw with 2 of my friends by making the most visually obnoxious build I could. Lots of tinkering and brainstorming lead me to the conclusion that rapidly triggered detonate deads would be far and away the best skill to accomplish that task. After a while it turned out that the build was legitimately good and I eventually took it to my first 100 and invested quite heavily into it.

Main difference between Necromancer vs Guardian as a summoner?

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 01:56 PM PDT

What is the main difference between Necromancer vs Guardian as a summoner as a casual player what jumps out to me is:

Bastion of Hope: 50% Block for 2 seconds every 5 seconds & Time of Need 80% reduced Curse effect

    vs

UnNatural Strength: +2 to Minion gems

So in essence Necromancer does more damage and Guardian is more defensive. How much DPS are you actually losing?

Looking at a summoner build for next season, guide uses Necromancer (Herald of Purity, 2 Golems, Spectres, Zombies), but could easily swap Guardian.

Looking for general feedback on the pros/cons of Guardian vs Necromancer as a summoner, if the passive tree is 100% same, only difference ascendency

    Thank you

Need advice on league starter, help me choose between frost blades raider and freezing pulse assassin

    Posted: 08 Jul 2021 04:22 AM PDT

As title suggests, narrowed it down to those two (I love my HoI explosions) but I can't choose between them. Can anyone whose played them before maybe can give some advice? Seems to me that raider will be faster clear and assassin has higher dps

A skill that has clear speed similar to BFBB but more bossing focused and not 2 button?

    Posted: 08 Jul 2021 04:16 AM PDT

Or am I asking for too much?

I enjoyed mapping with BFBB but not bossing so much. I'm still learning boss mechanics and sometimes with BFBB I would cast the blades and then the blast wouldn't go off or I was so focused on movement sometimes I'd forget I'm not hitting the blast after. Wanting to try play a build where the mapping speed was similar but was 1 button and more focused on bosses as that's my aim next league. To get better at bosses.

Is Mana Guardian HoAg still good?

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 07:38 PM PDT

I tried this build a few leagues ago and I keep thinking I just wanna play it again in 3.15, despite never doing the same build twice before. I loved the build that much. I loved the ease of play style, consistent DPS, and of course the incredible tankiness.

I was very surprised to see so few of them on the leaderboard and I was thinking there must have been a nerf recently or something, what am I missing? Most mana guardians now seem to be doing HoP, and suddenly everyone is using Arakali's over Cold Point, which is what I used at the time.

    Golems

    Posted: 08 Jul 2021 01:23 AM PDT

Hey exile's. First time poster I am on a big dilemma So for starters on ultimatum I have been playing carion golems jumping from necromancer to elemntalist. While necromancer has obviously more damage I will always die on bosses like the minotaur or on the inavatations . Elemntalist on the other hand feels much more defensive with more golems and easier and much more forgiving defenses. Everyone's is saying go necro but I have achieved more with elemntalist . Now the question how are you guys valuing safety on softcore and wixh one will you leave start with I will do golems either stone or carion golems but what ascendancy Thnx for the help any ways

    HoA Raider ssf?

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 02:28 PM PDT

Hey guys I've played this game for so long and I don't usually ask for recomendations but since I started working 9-17 was wondering if Hoa rider would be a nice ssf starter build. I've played it jn endless delve and I've enjoyed it a lot, but i see that some things has changes, like I played it with Cyclone but it seems that Lancing Steel is better? But i honestly don't like the skill so is Cyclone still good for the build? Also if I'd like to play the build all league long, what would be the order of the upgrades I should aim for? Thank you very much!

Help to min max this old POE3.0 Cyclone Slayer in Standard League

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 08:55 PM PDT

    https://pastebin.com/qY3XkuDb

I played this build a few years ago and it is now sitting in my Standard league. While waiting for the next league, I am thinking to make this build a bit more tanky and deal significantly more DPS. What are some suggestions?

I have 3ex budget and am okay with respec this into a gladiator build with something else that also uses atziri's disfavour unique. Appreciate all the discussion!

Need league start build advice for first time player and older friend

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 07:33 AM PDT

    Guys,

I've talked a buddy of mine into trying POE. Next season will be my second POE season and his first.

I need a super easy to understand build that will let him learn the game and various former league mechanics.

What do you think he should play? I have suggested to him that his goal for next season should be to get to and solo red maps and then learn the various game play options.

For me, my goals this season are to 100% my atlas and do better at boss killing. I played SRS last season and got some of the maven invitations done. I have a decent handle on a lot of the mechanics. I am leaning towards TR for a starter as I haven't played a ranger based character yet.

    Thanks for your advice!

    Steel Starter

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 12:12 PM PDT

I don't really know anything about the steel skills but I always wanted to try one so what would be the best out of those 3 to start with and play it all the way to endgame without needing to farm for a new char or anything?

    Wander Ranger Starter recommendation please

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 07:15 AM PDT

Can anyone recommend or share a PoB? I have never played a Wander actually, but have been wanting to. Only a few on PoE.ninja to go from. Deadeye seems like the Ascendancy to go, Gathering Winds, Far Shot, and Endless Munitions, undecided on 4th notable. +2 proj should make an early build feel pretty good. Gathering winds is not quite as much a buff as Raider onslaught though, but still very nice. Maybe respec to Raider (if she survives nerfs) or PF with some investment? Idk.

I went to stick with Ranger for movement speed mostly.

Edit: Also, any recommendations for what kind of content to farm? I see a lot of MF gear on POE Ninja, but I'm a solo player so I want to make sure I can do whatever on my own. I'd also like to be able to kill the occasional guardian, conqueror and 10-boss invitation here and there; I'm not really interested in farming the other end game bosses.

LF league starter non meta builds

    Posted: 07 Jul 2021 09:31 AM PDT

The thing is. I got bored playing same starters for ladt 5 leagues. Like toxic rain, mines, poison spells etc. Can you guys recommend something chill? I don't want zoom zoom starying I just want to level comfortably and progress and get currency without spending more than 3 4 ex on that character.

What I say no no: - mines - duration minions - toxic rain, poison bv or bf/bb - slow melee skills

Build doesn't have to be so tanky I will be playing on softcore but I would want to be easily doing red maps with low investment like 1 2 ex avarage. And skill usage shouldn't be clunky. For example lacarate animation is so slow I really don't want to play it even if it is strong etc like this. Any ideas or thoughts?
