    Make some visual change in HP bar when the boss is invulnerable

    A lot of bosses in POE, especially endgame bosses have a mechanic, when you take some percentage of their HP bar, they will turn into another phase (Sirus, Atziri, Izaro, Shaper, a lot of map bosses e.t.c.). So, the problem is that they don't switch phases immediately. They can make 1 or even 2 more attacks before that so you can easily get a one-shot. And you can't be 100% sure have you dealt enough damage to switch the phase or not. You just deal damage to them and their HP stops decreasing, it's not the most reliable indicator to say the least. So I ask to make some visual signal that they can't take damage and you can just focus on dodging things. Like make the colour of their HP bar silver or make it disappear at all.

    For a lot of squishy builds who have tons of DPS it would be really important. I love to play berserk and I have this problem really often.

    There should be a way to make Niko dig his tunnel deeper and to level up Heist rogues by spending some resource, that can be acquired outside the Mine and heists respectively (sulphite and markers?).

    Because having to grind through easy and/or non-rewarding content in order to get to difficult and/or rewarding content you actually want to do is kinda boring/extremely boring

    Upd: (i.e. if i havent touched Delve since the start of the league and now running red maps, i have to grind through a bunch of the Mine that is too easy, in order to get to the depth that is actually difficult for me and that i actually want to run, which is boring)

    (Campaign for 2nd, 3rd,... characters and atlas progression have a similar problem, but the former is a problem of the leveling process itself, and for the latter the process exists, but it's called buying cheap individual items from bulk items market, and that is practically impossible)

    We need an update to the help panel.

    Don't get me wrong, the help panel is great at what it does, but it definitely needs some sort of update.

    For example, we don't even have a section for the Atlas, an incredibly important system that can also be incredibly complicated to new players. It would also be great if we could have sections for some league mechanics that don't have a section right now, for example, Heist.

    All this would improve the new player experience and mitigate the need for guide videos.

    Opinions appreciated.

    SSF build to kill The Feared

    Hi! I'm searching for a good bossing build to conquer The Feared next league, as I haven't been able to do it yet on SSF. Last time I tried SSF in Ritual but the difficulty of new invitations made me switch to Trade. This time I want to push through it.

    I am fully aware that I'd need to adapt to the drops, that's why I'm looking for multiple builds to chose from (if you could provide me a build-enabling uniques/rares it would be immensly helpful!).

    I would definitely prefer it to be at least somewhat tanky/have some form of sustain as I really don't like the idea of all or nothing build. I want to be able to to this fight as well as other invitiations reliably and possible deathless (1-2 deaths are fine though).

    Builds I thougt about and tested some of them

    1. Pyroclast miner - I think this build have potential but I really disliked the risky and highly mechanical approach. I think it's way better on scripted fights like Maven than in a messy Invitation scenario. Also 6L shav is quite an investment.

    2. Freezing Pulse/Ice spear totems - this build I actually enjoy playing, but I'm not 100% sure if I could scale it enough in SSF to kill The Feared. Pandemonious and Cowards Legacy would be really hard to get especially as we probably won't get breach on the map device.

    3. Steel skills low-life champion - that's a cool build, but I'm not sure if it's good enough without Paradoxica/The Savior combo and I definitely can't count on getting them.

    4. Ball lightning Hiero - I think I can actually reliably farm Pledge of Hands or even try to drop it if we fet legion on map device, but I never played this build. My friends did though and it seems like amazing bosser, don't seem to have much other gear requirements.

    5. Minion necro - either mage skele, skele archers (doubt it) or spectres - tested it briefly and I'm not sure how far I can go with damage scaling but this one also seems like safe choice with predictable upgrades to make (minion helmet, +skill wands etc.).

    I'll be starting most likely as CA raider, bosser would be my second build.

    Is it worth picking 10% effect for 2 passives? Maybe annoint could work for one of 4 passive notables

    So I haven't played PoE in a while and I've been on a bit of an ARPG kick recently. However it looks like the current league is immenently about to end and a new one to begin. I am however a bit impatient and not sure if I should play anyway or if I should wait for the new league start and what to play in the meantime. Any suggestions?

    Theorycrafting a method for fastest real-time leveling from 1 to 100

    Assuming a group of players had all the resources necessary to employ any leveling method they desired, what would be the fastest method to level up one person from 1 to 100? This would mostly focus on strategies used after completing the Acts.

    The fastest way to go through the Acts and have a high rate of experience earned would probably be to have those helping use multiple characters prepped at different levels with leveling gear so they can clear sections of the game without incurring an experience penalty. The rest of the strategy during the Acts is your typical portal boost strat.

    But what would the optimal strategy for maps and other endgame content be? My theory is to have a team of "vacuum characters" who use Empire's Grasp and some method to prevent them from doing damage or killing enemies. They each go into their own map, vacuum as many mobs as they can, then call in the Leveler and possibly a damage dealer until the Leveler can one-shot all the enemies prepped.

    So what this would effectively look like is the Leveler would enter a Vacuumer's map, one-shot the hundreds of mobs on the screen, then leave and go to the next Vacuumer's map. I don't know what a good time estimate would be for each cycle, but 10 seconds seems reasonable if load times are minimal. Assuming it takes 3 minutes for a Vacuumer to go through an entire map, the Leveler would essentially be getting an entire map's worth of experience every 36 seconds. I estimate 3 minutes because if you go too fast, you'll leave mobs behind.

    And if five Vacuumers aren't enough, you could have another party and have the Leveler swap between them as needed.

    What are your thoughts? Are there other methods that may be faster?

    [PC Performance]

    TL;DR: after the micro patch that added the meters, i had a huge performance issue, especially with the ultimatum encounters. the solution was disabling C states in BIOS.

    First specs:
    Intel i7 7700k at 4.2ghz, 32gb ram at 1.5ghz, nvme hp 950 2tb, nvidia gtx 1070
    not the fastest in the world, but not crap either. i have a 75hz monitor, so run with a frame cap at 75, vsync is off.

    Game settings were all average, with shadows turned down to low. Tried both Dx11 and Vulcan. before the patch i ran vulcan full time without issues, and only minor frame loss when things got busy.

    after the patch... well, i hit 3fps in an ultimatum. i tried adjusting things around. nothing was really working, and for all time, ive always had these small dips in frame, especially when new things spawned like packs of mobs from the conquerors would spawn. nothing serious, but bouncing down to 69 from 75 then back up a lot can get annoying. I figued the system was good enough to handle the game without that, so started looking into tuning, mostly thinking it might be networking.

    i went through all the tuning stuff recommended for NICs. nothing really helped. so i started looking at the spikes in more detail with monitoring software open at the same time (perf mon, cpu-z, fanspeed, etc) and what i was seeing is that the CPU frequency was bouncing a lot... like instead of staying at 3.8+, it would drop down as low as 1.2ghz, while im playing, and while the screen was busy. that lead me into looking into speed stepping, turns out that wasnt the issue, speed stepping is actually handled quite well, and you should not disable it.

    C-states (often called sleep states mistakenly since they are related) are a real problem for gaming though. the idea behind a C state is to drop the processor power use to something that still meets the needs of what you are asking of it, but also lowers its power and frequency to only what is necessary. the reason its a problem, is that it issues a CPU HALT instruction while it adjusts the processor voltage. this is what was causing those micro lags and small drops in frame rates. Turns out, it was also causing the huge loss in frames i was getting in ultimatums.

    the reason was weird, the GPU would take on load due to all the shader use during ultimatums (hint 10 times more shading during one than normally while playing). so while this caused a bit of a bottleneck, the CPU felt this was a GREAT time to take a nap and lower the power state using C state stepping, which would delay the shading even more since it needed work from the CPU. a wonderful cascade of fail.

    so... if you are on a PC, or a laptop where you dont care about battery life, and understand BIOS some, try playing with C states disabled and see if it helps. (not speedstep, speedstep is fine)

    Game stuck on loading screen

    I never played before I am trying to start the game It will open into the first grinding gear games page, then a loading screen with two gears and it will just stay stuck on the loading screen. I already reinstalled 2 times. Any solution?

    Game isn't loading

    Hi all. After the performance patch my game took like 20/30 minutes to load and let me in to the log in page, after that everything was going as normal. But yesterday this happened again(the loading screen), i open the game on steam, the into cinematic plays and then the loading screen with the 2 grinds spinning, and that's it, it just stays like that, i launched the game 3 hours ago and it is stuck in that screen. I restarted the pc, the internet, reinstalled the game and nothing works. Anyone has this problem or knows how to fix it?

    Does Wall of Brambles 40% damage reflect proc crown of the pale king life regen from reflected damage 30%?

    I am attempting to run a max block 82% BCR ES/life hybrid gladiator build and I really love the mechanics of aegis aurora refilling my ES with a single block (currently at around 42k armor). My main concern with this build is the life sustain. I have enough armor that I won't be one shot by any physical damage however my life recovery rate is based almost exclusively on vaal pact (I use reckoning and ripose as counters on block to proc leech apart from my main attack). Will the mod on crown of the pale king, 30% of damage you reflect when hit is gained as life, also be proc'd via the wall of brambles 40% of melee damage taken reflected to attackers?

    If it Wall of Brambles reflect does proc the crown of the pale king mod, would it be more suitable to cap my damage reduction at 85% rather than capping at 90% so more healing occurs? Or would this healing be offset too much via the increased damage taken due to lower damage reduction cap?

    This is my first build focusing on the block mechanics and regen based on the same so these two mods seem to be a good combination on the surface. Any thoughts?
