Plugging it into PoB was not pretty, it looked like baseball bats were taken to the knee for nearly all the builds. | Tulfall Discharge/Freezing Pulse T15 Showcase (also looking for advice) Posted: 15 Sep 2021 07:39 PM PDT Video: https://youtu.be/jI05_q3VBtY This is a Tulfall Hierophant build stacking minimum power charges with Badge of the Brotherhood for frenzies. Tulfall offers flat cold damage per power charge as well as increased damage per frenzy. With Tulfall, you lose all your power charges on reaching maximum and generate a frenzy, but with 7/8 minimum power charges, we always stay at 7 power charges and keep the flat cold benefit. This also means we have rapid frenzy charge generation since 1 power charge turns into 1 frenzy charge. Freezing Pulse is a fast attacking skill with high added damage effectiveness, so it made sense as a main skill for both damage and frenzy generation. Discharge is a secondary link to chill bosses and assist with clear, as shattering a pack with Discharge generates frenzy charges from Tulfall, leading to near 100% frenzy uptime while mapping. Bonechill on Discharge makes bosses take increased damage from the chill effect, though the frenzy generation isn't quite high enough for this to be that effective (even when dual wielding you only get 1 frenzy charge on reaching maximum power charges for some reason). Right now my main issues are with single target bossing, since I can't generate frenzies fast enough for Discharge to be that useful, and my Freezing Pulse currently only hits about 1m dps (1.5m with more invest, but I'd like it to be higher). Also I die to chaos damage a lot, but I think that'll be mostly fixed with better gear (at like 0-20% res instead of -36%). Other interactions: -Zealotry + Arrogance for Low Life (Ivory Tower) -Clarity, Vitality, and Precision auras -Arcane Cloak + Arcane Surge for max buff (this might be weakening me to chaos damage) -Arcanist Brand with Wave of Conviction, Assassin's Mark, and PCoC -Big elusive when I actually get boots -Rotgut ez Current POB: https://pastebin.com/0vjPR56k POB with better gear: https://pastebin.com/aHTmvJUA (use this as a base) I have some extra points left at level 95 (and honestly the whole southern branch of the tree can probably be cut for 16 more points). Clusters are tempting but ones that would actually make somewhat of a difference are like 15ex (ie 3 notable Blanketed Snow with proper placement). I'd rather keep total additions under 15ex ish, but you can go crazy if you want I guess. I'm kinda stuck with how to take this to the next level, so suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Most I can find is 5ish people on poe ninja, a janky looking forum guide, and a few hundred view youtube videos. All of them are doing pretty wildly different things. Seems like ignite elementalist is the safe choice. Even then I saw someone on poe ninja doing a golem variant that looked kind of neat. Anybody playing it this league? What if I just wanna use all this tremendous amount of exalts (sarcasm of course) and build damage mitigation as good as I can first, then think about offense later? Sure, i want surviveability and damage but i want a THEME around them. Unfortunately i am not very good at making builds work so i wonder what's out there? I just setup my totem char as my bosser and am looking to make a super tanky mapper. Acendancys I have already leveled 88+ I'm not against playing any of these toons but this is what I have leveled below. 1). Looks like most of the cool builds on poe.ninja use the phys to cold watcher's eye as the core to the build- freeing up a bunch of stuff for more damage. Cheapest I can find is 9ex. I can to the formed and A9 pretty comfortably. There is two thing tho that are pretty annoying, crit chance is extremely inconsistant, the stars really need to align for the DPS to kick in. Here is the actual character : https://poe-profile.info/profile/Zgurf/%EB%89%B4%EB%AE%A4%EB%89%B4?realm=pc Issue is : I feel REALLY REALLY weak. Get one shot a lot. I figure my amulet is actually a bait and I am working on making a hunter with life and Phys damage over time (and possibly a res but... yeah). Second weak spot is my pair of boots, which I am trying to replace too with a higher life roll (but harvest has been very very mean with me :(). Do you spot anything else that really needs an upgrade/is reasonable to craft ? And in the tree ? As for pantheons, do I need to take the stun immunity ? I tried with and without and I seem to still die to stun locks in both cases... Damage wise it could be better but it's kinda ok (for sirus A6 at least). BVut i am willing to hear from you too !!! | Looking For Help with my Flicker Strike Raider Posted: 15 Sep 2021 05:58 AM PDT Hey Everyone, I just converted my Lightning Strike Raider over to Flicker Strike to have some fun and close out the league. While the playstyle is exactly what I was hoping for and mapping is a blast, right now my damage feels low on single targets. I know that's not necessarily the strong point of the build, but I'm looking for feedback on what I can improve in the short term to bring down bosses easier. I've been loosely following the top builds on POE Ninja and here's my POB so far: https://pastebin.com/z01KhBVX I won't be going the Replica Forbidden Shako route, but I know I'm missing some big-ticket items like Woke Multistrike & Bottled Faith I could probably buy a good pair of +1 frenzy charge gloves right now, but I'm wondering if there are some more cost-effective upgrades out there.
