Now I'm looking for a build to spend it on. I'd like for it to be able to zoom through maps and delete 70 quant feared without me having to worry too much about mechanics/ground effects. While in general I am a very knowledgeable and expierenced poe-player, I have absolutely no idea about minion builds because I never play them. On poe-ninja there are a lot of variations of this build (at least when it comes to details). What version did you play and can recommend? I always prefer well-rounded allrounder which can do all content and no glass cannons. Budget should be about 50 EX. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 24 Nov 2021 03:59 AM PST I've been farming T3 Tower with an MF Deadeye this season, and have amassed more raw currency than I have ever had access to before. I'm sitting on 60 pure exalts! And about 20 more in sellable bits and pieces. While I consider myself reasonably competent at the game in general, I've never been able to spend this much on a build. What I'm wondering is, from someone with experience taking a variety of builds to different levels, what should a player expect to be able to do with each budget? Are there any builds which particularly suit any of these budgets (in terms of power spike, or specific needed uniques)? What kinds of builds would be best for each price point? 1 ex? 5 ex? 10 ex? 50 ex? 200+ ex? I would have thought that 50ex would be enough to take most mainstream builds through almost all content - is that the case? If not, what's the most well rounded? Using Path of Controller which is reasonably responsive so I can probably play most basic builds. Looking for any builds that you can spam right click with. | Posted: 24 Nov 2021 04:32 AM PST Does anyone have a budget flicker build? I have a VLS Raider that I've sunk about all the currency I want to into. Around 30-40 ex. It's a super fun and active play style but I'm at the point now in league where I just want to try funky builds. Never played flicker so want to try it. I have 4 raw ex to get the build started and a level 87 raider that I league started with thst can be respeced. I'll mainly be farming blight maps and legion in glennach with the build. Is there a good guide how to get a coc ice spear occultist going for like 30-40ex, which can safely farm nem3 maps? i would like to do that with the icespear character rather then the jugg. im sick of playing LS :D all the youtube guides i see doesnt use headhunter ;( I would like to farm nem3 with the coc ice spear character and farm more currency that way. i though, with HH it should be relatively "easy" to do that... but maybe im wrong? | Advice for picking a casting build? Posted: 24 Nov 2021 10:23 AM PST Hi there, Having my first semi successful league. Been running an ice crash berserker build fairly successfully so far. Decided to use my built up currency to fund another build... didn't do my research properly and decided to go CI CoC ice nova assassin. Terrible idea -- awful. Even after nearly 2ex worth of gear I couldn't map as successfully as I could with about 50c on my berserker. There's a week I won't get back. However! I would still like to try another build after I develop a little bit more currency to recoup my loss. I like my berserker build, it's fun and fast but the rage mechanic means I can't ever stop for more than a few seconds if I need to w/o having to build rage back up, and its defensive abilities aren't too too great unless I can consistently freeze before I get hit a lot. I'm interested in something that's great at clearing but isn't such a glass cannon as I likely won't be able to afford god tier items -- a few exalt for a single item seems like an enormous sum to me right now. I've always been interested in casters but I have no experience in playing them or knowing what spells are easier/more difficult to gear for. I can probably save up 2-3 ex worth of currency to start with -- ideally the build can take over mapping once it gets through the acts and continue to fund itself through maps. Any recommendations? Posted: 24 Nov 2021 10:21 AM PST Hello, I want to make a Guardian Discharge build based on "Harmony of Purpose" that allow to generate multiple charge on hit So my build is oriented around charge generation to spam Discharge : Frenzy + Spellslinger BL PCoC + Harmony of Purpose is a nice candidate for that For the defense layer, I decided to go MoM + Agnostic with 30% life regen from Guardian Ascendency, I can refill my bar in like 1sec with warcry. Posted: 23 Nov 2021 05:58 PM PST Been finally able to give a chance to start the league due to work schedule, as title mentioned, not sure if its late enough in the league for the meta to have developed a little, I've so far seen a bit of PF PC here and there and that interested me since its a new skill, but not sure if its good enough to take me there without dying in Scourge or bossing in juiced Conquerors. I've never liked TR or EX/Seis, and summoner builds were just never a thing just from the sheer amount of buttons when leveling. Yet I'm not quite sure about progression now: Here is my build: I have around 2 exalts to my soul and I'm thinking what should be the next upgrade: I have 5,2k ES but I find myself dying more than I would wish to on level 91, It's often a gamble to go above 100 scourge stacks and I find it somewhat difficult to fight conquerors without dying. Should I go for helmet with increased damage? Change boots to ones with tailwind? Or should I collect money for Watchers Eye fisrtly? Or maybe some higher quality gems. Advice much appreciated. | Theory crafting fire HoT bomber Posted: 24 Nov 2021 09:01 AM PST So I have been thinking about making a hard hitting HOT build on an occultist. Why occultist? Because I want to have a proper explody (inpulsa has a ton of problems chaining) also inc aoe from power charges. I recently made a DO build through herald of ash and surprisingly it could clear up to 4 screens away from me just from herald of ash. But aoe wasnt big enough and scaling DO is problematic. So my natural alternative is Lightning to cold to fire HOT with massive inc aoe. The build has to have Insane speed(hh,tailwind) and insane clear (explody and herald of ash) effecively trying to replicate old fire bv becuase there is still potential there in my opinion. Please drop your suggestions or experiences if you ever attempter something like that. Thanks! I've invested about 8 ex into it - it's reasonably tanky and I've killed A8 with it a few times, but the damage is very lacking. I'm currently sitting at 1.5m dps and 10 way boss invitations are quite the headache. I thought that a psudeo 6L RF helmet would help but it's actually a dps decrease.
