| The Feared farming build suggestions Posted: 19 Dec 2021 08:02 AM PST Hi all, As the title says, I'm hoping to get some suggestions for a boss killing build for feared full run farming. I've done a couple runs on my Cold TS build but frankly with the league ending soon I don't have the motivation to grind a mirror for a bow. Ideally I'm looking for a caster with a minimum of 5 million sDPS, definitely not minions, CoC melee or VD/DD (ideally I'd like to avoid trigger builds and anything even tangentially involving minions altogether). My first thought was to go for storm brand but after looking through some of the videos it just seems really lackluster. Defenses-wise I really don't care if its tanky or not, so long as it isn't a 6 portal no recovery build that can kill bosses relatively quick so that's its at least vaguely efficient (so Dot builds are pretty much out). Budget is anywhere from 200-300ex. Thanks in advance! P. S. Why does GGG seem to have such a hate boner for caster builds this league? Outside of spark aurastack and Voltaxic Spark I've seen next to no self cast builds do any amount of endgame content. Edit to add: I've played assassin, occultist, inquisitor and mana stacking storm brand in the past. Mana stacking was my favourite variant and I've tried it this league but the damage output just feels so weak, especially in combination with the vastly reduced recovery. If there's a way to make it work exclusivey for boss killing (no clear needed, I have a gg bow character with HH for that) I'm all ears. Edit2: Forgot to mention that phys trapper is also out. I actually quite enjoy the mine and trap playstyle but seismic trap feels awful on bosses like sirus or elder guardians where they're very mobile, and has very rough recovery. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 19 Dec 2021 05:51 AM PST I got a shield with 1375 evasion and 330 ES with +11% block chance. Made me wonder if cold SST would be worth doing.
I never played it last league, so no real frame of reference for how good it was before the nerfs. Is it still viable or did they nerf it too badly? Looks like not a ton of people playing it on ninja but I feel like that is kind of typical for fotm that got nerfed. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 19 Dec 2021 04:15 AM PST I haven't played in a couple leagues so I'm a bit lost with the interactions of this setup that seems to be the meta for bow builds Which skill would be the best to use in this setup? LA/Iceshot + barrage support or Tornado shot? I'm currently trying a +2 pierce setup with LA, farshot (no chains, no fork) and tornado/hydrosphere/sniper's mark/PCoC socketed in the helmet and it seems to be doing ok damage. I place hydrosphere+tornado just under the boss so my LA can hit 3x times (idk if I'm doing it correctly) I also tried Ice shot with a +1 chain setup (no pierce, no fork) and same helmet setup as above but with bonechill instead of tornado. Despite only having hydrosphere, it seemed to be doing just as good if not better than my current LA setup without all the hazzle of aligning both spells for the pierce, so maybe I'm doing something wrong now? | Heartbound Loop - CWDT setup; why my loop breaking? Posted: 19 Dec 2021 03:58 AM PST Been working on using Heartbound Loop spell loops since I was curious after watching one too much Jousis videos. I saw the various videos using Orloth's Resolve + ward recoup build and I happened to have a lot of the pieces just sitting around. Now, I've come into the problem where my loop breaks. I'm not exactly certain why and would like some help identifying where the problem is and how I can fix it. EDIT: I removed my 20/20 Less Duration support and suddenly the loop is working. I currently have a level 5 CWDT, level 19/20 Anomalous Minion Speed, and a level 11/20 Anomalous Summon Skeletons. I don't know what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. | Build Suggestions for HH + 10 - 30 ex Posted: 18 Dec 2021 04:44 PM PST I just farmed out my first HH ever using the chaos conversion Animate Weapon guide posted here a couple weeks ago but I feel like I've invested all that I can into that build (outside of the same clusters Arakali's uses.) I need a little bit of help figuring out an all-rounder build to use the HH that's somewhere in the 10 - 30 ex range something that can zoom but has stiffer defenses than six portals please. The gameplay from int stacking and the Orb of Winter PP build look pretty cool but I'm not sure I have the budget to make those work. Budget would probably be around 100-200ex not including the belt slot. I would be using Mageblood for the belt. I've been nem3 farming for currency and am looking to learn boss mechanics and get comfortable doing them so that I can improve my gameplay and do them on low budget builds on league start without issue. Pretty much looking for a stone golem build that's focused on survivability rather than DPS but doesn't take a century to kill Sirus/Maven. [link] [comments] | ||
