Posted: 05 Apr 2022 05:02 AM PDT I'm not a good player by any means, but managed to save up enough currency in Standard for a HH a few leagues back. I've played Baron Necro builds almost exclusively since Delve, and just slapped the belt on my best char for the funzies. Is it a total waste compared to other options in the 10ish ex range? Edit: So it appears to be a waste. Besides a stat stick, what should I be looking for on a minion belt? | Posted: 04 Apr 2022 10:24 PM PDT So I've been very happy with the clear on this build, but I can't seem to get through juiced up map bosses and the endgame boss fights. I recently failed the Shaper with about 40%-50% health left and I'm pretty disappointed, thought I was gonna take down my first endgame boss. I'm going to work on leveling up to get those extra few defense skill tree passives and hopefully that will help. Anybody see parts of my build that might be holding me back? [link] [comments] | ||

| Str Stacking Dual Strike Ascendant help Posted: 05 Apr 2022 01:21 AM PDT I want to play Scion next league as it's the last class I haven't tried. Here's the build in question I put together after consulting some pobs, the idea is stack a lot of strength for fire damage with BLS, then dual wield them to use dual strike for big hit. The threshold jewel then turns it into big AOE hit. However I still feel like for a Str stacker the damage and defense are still lacking. Would love to hear some suggestions for improvement. The idea of having constant DPS + mobility is very appealing to me and you dont have to go Crit like you do with CoC. Does anyone have a pob / link / showcase of good up2date CwC builds? | Posted: 04 Apr 2022 09:51 PM PDT As the league is kind of winding down for me I was hoping to put together some builds I had been eyeing for a while and realized that for any of the stat stackers I'd need Split Personalities. My Deadeye Helix can do up to Sim 26-27 but isn't tanky enough to go further and can sometimes struggle with DPS on Kosis past 25 if I get screwed by mods. I've started playing Skele Mages forever ago but couldn't really get the damage off the ground, which made me quit fairly soon. I didn't have a Fleshcrafter at the time (would have a 5L now) and no +2 wand (have +1 now, 4 attempts at crafting one failed so far, lacking 4 socket resonators). +3 Helmet and 21 AG with Doppelgänger are set but that's about the only thing I have ready for the build. I'm usually locked out of these builds because I'm missing some specific rare unique or some insane crafts, but I figured I might as well ask for suggestions. Fwiw I have only dropped 1 good watcher's eye this league which is double hatred (crit chance + damage), not sure if that opens up any possibilities Off the top of my head some of my rarer uniques are Doryani's, Mjölner and Aegis, also have Bottled Faith and Dying Sun [link] [comments] | ||
| 'Budget' Lightning warp Assassin/Boss Rusher Posted: 04 Apr 2022 07:24 AM PDT Mostly stolen from Palsteron's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzIARCtORz8 That version is better - but also quite expensive. This one isn't exactly budget, but is a lot more affordable. Doesn't have quite as much single target - it's totally fine for map boss rushing and I have done some guardian maps etc, but it's not really an allround build. Very rough video- https://youtu.be/hvLxWnr58rE Map had ele res and monsters steal charges (I lose all my charges at start of boss fight) and I was very clumsy navigating the map, but you get an idea of the speed. Life total is less than I'd like, but we have decent armour and evasion plus 100% spell suppression. If I can be bothered levelling much more I can get another couple of life nodes plus a jewel socket. I also need to replace a medium cluster which will give me another 8% life. Where we save money - We don't use the forbidden jewels, we just use eldritch battery, zealots oath and vitality - We hard path to the reduced duration nodes and anoint Overcharge instead. This means we only need a lvl 16 lightning warp to get 100% reduced, if we have a 30% helm enchant. Obviously we run a 20/21 - but does mean you can start running earlier. I killed kitava with it. And more importantly we don't need a corrupt chest or Empower. - Pathing this way gives us a bit of spell suppression, and lets us get grace reservation mastery. Which helps us get 100% suppression and fit in auras. - As we don't need to run empower, and it's not that good without a +1 chest and/or lvl 4 empower we can use faster casting. It's not the best dps link, but it does make warping much smoother. And offsets the fact we might not have the best cluster jewels - Cheaper/easier to roll cluster. We lose cast speed, but we make it up with the faster casting support. Unless to push lvl 100, will only be able to fit 1 cluster in anyway. - Enchant in a black sun crest fixes omniscience issues, and is a dex base for supress mastery point. +1 helps with enlighten levels (I lucked into a lvl 4 but it's not needed). It was much cheaper than any rare dex base helm when I bought it - even for an almost perfect roll. Seem to be similar prices for a rare now, if you go that route you can make up Omniscience on a Belt or just have more life. Or if you aren't bothered about capping suppression - just get any useful unique. - My gloves (Though failed multiple times to hit +2AOE before giving up), rings and boots are fairly decent but were self crafted or things I already had in stash. Belt should be replaced but haven't been bothered to do so yet. - Trying to get more prolif range on gloves gets expensive in orbs of conflict (And prices have shot up recently) but I'm not convinced it makes that much difference - t1/t2 is probably ok. - I've got leech on my watcher eye which means I can get a suppression implicit on gloves. If you can manage capping suppresson without needing it (better rolls on gloves/boots and maybe grab a suppression point in the Reflexes cluster, you can use a cheaper watchers eye or get another mod. Some extra tips - Until you have a decent gear level and maxed gems etc, just use conc effect all the time instead of woke increased AOE. Saves buying one, and clear isn't affected much as it's mostly from Inpulsa anyway. - If you do want to tackle anything tankier, you can try swapping in lightning tendrils. It's all the same scalling and hits pretty hard. - Assuming you are bossrushing with this, resist the temptation to run nastier maps, or to grab altars that make mobs/the boss tougher. At least until you have decent gear and levelled gems. Afterwards you can be a bit more adventurous! - You can use a divine blessing/lifetap/zealotry setup for a bit more burst damage. I've been to lazy to bother, and cursing + laying down orb of storms is enough buttons for me. Not got any vids to share ATM, but i plays just like Palsteron showed. It's super fast and fun without feeling too out of control. [link] [comments] | ||

Big upgrades to my gear are super expensive, and I'm not able to get to a point where I can farm a lot of currency yet. My survivability is pretty decent outside of lightning res, but my damage is super low. | Caustic Arrow Raider - trying to break 1M DPS Posted: 04 Apr 2022 12:54 PM PDT Hi all. Playing CA Raider forever now. This has by far been my most successful league (thanks covid!) … I'm trying to break 1M DPS in POB and was wondering if anyone one can spot any easy gets right now. I use Vaal Skellies as a tiny dmg bump but more as a herd of decoys. Wither totem is almost always up even mapping. Despair on hit is on a ring. On console there's exactly ZERO +1 / +1 amulets for sale that I have seen. So I've gone +1 / dmg over time I've got headhunter (1st ever!) that I throw in for mapping. For upgrade (crafted or bought) I have got about 10ex sitting in the vault and a few items I could sell and possibly the HH … really don't want to though. | Posted: 04 Apr 2022 07:16 AM PDT Hello! I'm currently playing a lvl 95 Elementalist Ignite Arc build which I've fallen in love with. However I do die every now and then to regular maps when they have a few rippy mods, and it's not tanky enough to facetank most stuff. I'm fine with having to dodge, and dying occasionally to difficult content such as bosses, but I would like to be a bit more tanky. Do you have any suggestions for what I can do? I have about 10 points on my tree that are invested into damage that I'm fine with dropping, as a gear upgrade I'm looking for is going to cover that dps loss and more once I get it. My current defensive layers as I see it now:

Posted: 04 Apr 2022 10:43 AM PDT Back in Archnem it was around a mirror to build it and it mainly functioned as an aura-stacker of sorts - through March of the Legion. I found this PoB which looks to be fairly close to what I'm looking for: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/WizardOfPotato/PotatoIsAddictedToArmor - it has no Divine Blessing bullshit and no Mageblood obviously, it does use Berserker jewels, but I reckon they're not really mandatory. However I'm not sure if this is a good PoB considering I have fuck all in terms of currency (only around 50ex) and would like to build something actually tanky, this PoB is probably pretty tanky, but I'm not so sure it can be built on this budget (though at first glance it seems like its mostly not-so-expensive uniques). Are there maybe other variants/setups of armor stackers that produce good amount of armor rating and are also cheaper? I'm not attached to Smite as the skill at all also. [link] [comments] | ||

I just recently started the league and i got some gear from a mate of mine. He didnt play the build for ages and i couldnt find any Pob that was somewhat similar and now im not really sure what to go for next or which items to upgrade right now . Im currently sitting at 10 ex or something so i could definitely upgrade the char. Would love to hear some feedback on what you think could be the next step. Skilltreewise : im looking to get the bottom totem notes when i hit level 90ish and i m gonna get my 4th lab later on as well. but that s about it.
