Path of Exile Builds Spark builds?

Path of Exile Builds Spark builds?

    Spark builds?

    Posted: 24 Apr 2022 05:54 AM PDT

Hi all. I've looked on POE Ninja and seen that Spark Champions seem pretty viable, but the only thing is that on the official forums there is no mention of such a build etc, and looking around here I haven't seen one.

Is it as simple as just following a standard POB? Can it be league started, or does it require investment?

On a second note, i've noticed that the forums no longer really have new builds published, is there somewhere else that they are? I find the information/pros+cons/ and gearing tips and transition tips very useful which is why I can't really a follow an "end game" POB

As a result i am never really sure what the meta is, because it seems everyone is playing these meta builds but there are very rarely guides to go along them...

    thank you

    Beginner-friendly builds for next league

    Posted: 24 Apr 2022 03:39 AM PDT

Hi Guys, I'm currently looking for a new build to play next league. I would rate myself as a beginner - no idea on how to craft items.

I've tried Enki's arc which was pretty okay, but am looking for other builds which are beginner-friendly to play. Would help if there's detailed guide with items to get so that I don't need to worry about what to get ._." Thanks in advance!

Is storm brand Inquisitor a viable league starter?

    Posted: 24 Apr 2022 02:53 PM PDT

I want to start as a Templar as I have plans for a second build which requires investment to work, so I am wondering if storm brand is a viable league starter?

"Easy" to play map clear and Boss builds for two-to-three person party with Aurabot

    Posted: 24 Apr 2022 11:43 AM PDT

    Hi there Exiles,

I'm planning to league start with one or two friends. Both of them are fairly new to PoE.

I'm planning to play an simple aura bot and let the others do the Killing (having the fun).

It's the first time trying to league start as a group and I'm not sure what builds would be best suited for them and to profit from me as an aurobot.

I was thinking something like Lightning Strike Raider/Champion Or a Skeleton Mages (since its easy to play, but I'm not really sure how much it would profit from an aurabot.)

Do you have any suggestions for "easy" to play builds that profit well from an aurabot and could later on be used to farm endgame content?

I'm going to practice some league-start levelling, looking for suggestions what builds to try out while I'm at it.

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 10:14 PM PDT

I want something fast, that I can consider starting with next season (unless nerfed). I wont be using my hoarded wealth.

Until patch notes confirm it's viable I'm only doing 1 run with each build so ideally it not complicated to wrap my head around the progression and doesn't involve multiple gem swaps etc.

Already started EA ballista this season, then built spark, winter orb, tornado shot. Prefer something different to these (would happily try some more bow builds thought). I want to try a minion build at least once but I don't want it to be full-auto-pilot or I'll fall asleep.

    Best Clearing skill?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 04:38 PM PDT

I've always preferred fast and smooth clearing builds since delirium. Next league I wanna run a really good mapper over anything else. what skill would you recommend?

League starter that can boss well, map well, and be well geared over time?

    Posted: 24 Apr 2022 07:57 AM PDT

Hi all. My favourite builds by far are ones that can be league started (ideally using main skill during leveling but respeccing slightly once getting to maps is also fine).

I only like to play one character each league, and like to go from zero to hero. Some previous builds i've enjoyed that had this playstyle was:

Lightning Brand - Assassin and Inquisitor - enjoyed these but i've overplayed them alot. I enjoy the play style of brands especially the QOL and increase in clear and power as I gear up. Was also great against bossing.

Lighting Strike Champion - Another build that I started as the last few leagues, very fun playstyle, great mapper, tanky, and bossed very well. However, i've overplayed this one a bit too.

Can anyone recommend any builds similar to these that are both good at bossing and mapping? I see people constantly say "You can't be good at mapping and bossing" but this just simply isn't true if you carefully select the builds you play.

Having a slow struggle to start with is also fine with me as i'm in no real rush to get to T16 maps on day 1 as long as their end game potential is pretty big.

Just to note, things i'm not a fan off are Minions and Traps. Toxic Rain also was not particularly enjoyable to me either due to the degen and things dying behind you. I also don't like the playstyle of Cyclone (that it slows you down when casting it).

What are the leauge-start viable archetypes?

    Posted: 24 Apr 2022 05:00 AM PDT

Hey everyone! I wonde, what are the good performing league start archetypes that can scale well into mid to endgame. I know high floor means lower ceiling but still wanna ask.
There are different "roles" to crush the new league except the few op stuff. Summoner army necro, ignite elementalist, poison phys spells etc etc.

What are the different options? I never leauge started melee for example. Are shout builds good? Falls slow late? What about melee bleed? Hope i explained myself enough. Ty :)

Storm Burst delay, does it get better with more cast speed?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 11:35 AM PDT

While trying to come up with a starter I checked my 3.15 character I leveled to maps trying storm burst. I ended up not starting with it last time because the transition to mapping was bad and figured the spell buffs didn't make up for it. Well, I checked and it plays pretty good now, I'm probably going to start with it.

The only issue I have is the delay between starting to channel and it actually doing damage, making mapping quite slow at mapping. Divine Ire has about half the delay and lightning tendrils is instant, making it pretty good for mapping compared to storm burst.

I tried googling info on the delay but couldn't find much on it. So people that actually played it, does it get better with cast speed or is it a fixed delay that is just there?

Which build are you planning for next league?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 10:18 AM PDT

We don't have any idea on next league mechanic but I'm hyped af. Omni, ls, sh, pc will be nerfed, obiously. Some of the builds I consider 1- Golem stacker elementalist (arc or fireball) 2- Poison path finder (probably bv) 3- Flicker strike champion w Caeseless Fist (I tried, you can sustain frenzy charges with sword mastery + mark mastery) What are you guys planning?

Build help, Necromancer, Noob with poor understanding of the game

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 12:09 PM PDT

This very nooby noob would like to humbly request your help looking over my build, and see if some easy wins can be made.

I already know it's shit, and has mediocre gear, so you don't need to remind me of that.

    League: normal

    Budget: 8ex

Would like: more spell block / block chance , because i read this lowers most of the incoming damage anyway (creating passive survivability). I guess i need more chaos res??? Hopefully quick wins rearranging passives.

Would rather not have: things that require purchases from TFT or gems with souls that do random things. I can't afford them anyway.

After you've recovered your breath from laughing at my build, i would very much like to receive your input. Please mind to keep it as clear and simple as you can, because of my limited understanding of the game.

    Frostblink Ignite Leaguestarter

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 02:45 PM PDT

    NOT VIABLE

Im thinking of doing an Ignite Frostblink Occultist with Aegis Aurora as defense and Replica Stampede for main damage.

All empty gear slots are for res/def/attr

For leveling i was inspired by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC4C9GrH-Yg

    Occultist Leveling https://pobb.in/rmFQWCr5JFB_

    Elementalist Leveling https://pobb.in/n8DWMwc7DIi7

Frost Blades vs Poisonous Conc league starter?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 10:06 PM PDT

Hey guys I know it's still a bit early but I wanna start practicing for next league. So I was wondering which is a better league starter? Frost Blades Champ/Raider or PC Pathfinder? I've leveled with Frost Blades and did enjoy it but never took it past the story. Never used PC but I enjoy Pathfinder and infinite flasks. I was wondering which one is the faster leveling experience and cheaper to get going once I hit maps.

Pob and/or guides would be greatly appreciated as both these builds are outside my general comfort zone.

Opinions on Optimized Heist Focused Build?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 02:29 PM PDT

Im thinking I am going to focus on spamming heist as my primary league start gameplan to make currency and fund everything else. I was debating between Heist or Lab Runner, and I have already done Lab Runner a few times so Heist seems like a nice change of pace.

The cool thing about a Heist runner build is there is zero demand for damage. Theoretically you can sit and spam heists as zdps focusing 100% on being tanky as fuck and fast as hell.

So of course it seems like Raider, self chill, chainbreaker berserk is the best starting point. Its trivial to get absurd armor and eva and running very close to the same build a lab runner rocks, but with a bit less move speed and putting more work into being tanky.

For skills though I think a bit of work has to be put into coming up with tricks to protect the rogues while they work. Im eyeballing Frost Wall + Decoy Totem.

League start I would likely go something along the lines of Spectral Helix at first for Exping and to get through the initial bootstrapping currency and getting the build online

Here is approximately my goal PoB (Open jewel socket for a watchers eye)

    https://pastebin.com/WY2BbEu0

Ending up with >60k Armor/Eva with flasks up (which should have nearly 100% uptime), 600 life regen, nearly capped spell suppression, a smidge of block, +544% move speed, Flesh and Stone on sand mode, and temp chains aura to boot.

Thoughts on this approach? Or what alternatives to consider?

Help making my Death's Oath Occultist tankier? (Dying in yellow maps)

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 12:12 PM PDT

Hey guys, been playing around with Death's Oath, kinda just using a mishmash of various builds I've found around the place and just trying to get it to a functional spot on a super budget (I don't really have much currency or a way to farm it), and I'm currently working my way through yellow maps, damage seems fine, but I'm still getting blown up randomly every once in a while, and everything I see about this build says its supposed to be very tanky, so clearly I must be doing something wrong.

Wondering if anyone would be willing to have a look over my PoB and give suggestions on hopefully budget-friendly improvements I could make to make things smoother.

I'm eventually hoping to transition to Caustic Arrow, but the Bow is way out of my pricerange atm I think

Follow-up: What about tankychunky builds without Aegis?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 08:24 AM PDT

In follow up to another post here, let's assume aegis aurora gets the nerf hammer. What's left for mega tanky, face tank almost anything builds?

Ditto for night blade - bonus if it's not dependent on that likely nerf candidate.

Bonus if it's league start friendly, building up to that tankitude steadily.

Omni Flicker Strike Raider low damage?

    Posted: 23 Apr 2022 03:03 PM PDT

I'm trying to get this flicker strike build going... lot of things left to do (flasks, watcher's eye, shako's, etc.) but my damage is suuuuper weak. Way weaker than I would expect given my gear. Am I missing something big or is it just all the little stuff adding up that I'm missing? https://pastebin.com/uuZK2xmw
