    Strongest all-round builds atm

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 02:30 PM PST

What are the top/strongest dps builds atm.. considering a 5-10EX budget (cuz almost everything can be insane with unlimited currecny)

I know some builds are clearing or bossing focused, but a lot of builds can do both now..

(sidequestion: where does Scion Elemental Hit stand atm? Cuz on poe ninja you see a lot of them and especially top 100 Delve)

TS MF vs Winter orb MF

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 11:38 PM PST

I tried both but i dont have rigwald and +2 ts helmet. Obviously winter orb is easy to scale and cheaper while ts much expensive.

Planning to play only 1 character next league lazy to reroll, so i just wanted to ask which is better ?

I already compare my current ts and winter orb both are almost the same 2mins per map arcade. The only thing is i dont have rigwald and +2 ts.

Personally i like winter orb but it just not fast enough like deadeye. If winter orb has better speed i think it would the best. Anyone has idea? And TS i really not willing to buy rigwald and +2 ts haha

    Thank you.

Need help finding the best most brain dead build

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 10:47 PM PST

Hey guys! So I've played path pretty casually for the past 3 seasons or so but never really tried or cared for playing the most "powerful" or highest-dps builds.

My first "main" character that I got to endgame was some cyclone jugg I found off the forums and as much as I tried to like it, I just couldn't get used to the click mechanic coming from diablo's ww lol

Anyways, I'm currently playing this ice golem elementalist and I honestly find it pretty satisfying, but out of curiosity, what do you guys think is the most "lazy" brain dead build that allows me to just run around just focusing on flasks and the occasional other skills or whatever lol

    I really appreciate the help!

I kept dying... (CI VP Whispering Ice Occ)

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 10:43 PM PST

This is my 2nd char, trying to go further in the maps after hitting a roadblock with my soulwrest necromancer.

    https://pastebin.com/f5gLyXJv

While my summoner can farm t13 with ease, this character had a lot of problem clearing t10s. I also had a very difficult time with traps in the uber labs.

    1. While blood rage x aakaali's ES regen is a thing, I kept dying to the degen thanks to the buff. You can drink potions to restore hp, but you can't do anything with ES unless you have Vaal discipline/something to leech from. Should I drop blood rage, esp in uber labs? Or should I hunt for the worms pot? Am I doing something wrong?

    2. I know that my equips are mega terrible right now. Need your suggestion on how to get good, but keep in mind I'm fairly new to poe, so I dont have a lot of currency atm. (Only have 2 exalts)

    CWTD Vaal RF

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 12:17 PM PST

So I'm using Ziz's Winter Orb BV build, which involves linking Immortal Will, Increased Duration, CWDT, and Vaal RF. I've seen this same setup on a couple other builds as well. In my experience (Level 72), even with max fire resist and a build towards +life, having RF CWDT has nearly killed me a few times, and probably has killed me at least once. The Vaal skill itself is super useful but I'm not sure why I'd want to use RF when I'm actually being hit (which ideally shouldn't happen much anyway?) and take a lot more damage. Am I missing something?

Oni-Goroshi vs. Razor of the 7th Sun

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 08:16 PM PST

Newbie here asking about which weapon would be more preferable for a non hardcore/semi-casual new player who wants to get into red maps using a tectonic slam build? I would really like to know how to build around these weapons and what kinds of gimmicks I need to learn about the synergies between tectonic slam and each of these weapons. Thank you so much!!!

Would it be viable to make an attack based vaal weapon?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 11:32 AM PST

Most I see on market are staves with maybe one bow. Would a multimodded 40% vaal soul cost Exquisite blade for instance make sense?
I'd dig a Vaal Double Strike Soulripper+Soulcatcher build.... assuming you could sustain it.

MS Jugg or Tectonic as starter now?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 09:02 AM PST

Hey everyone. I'm a relatively new player starting with this league, with limited playtime (newborn baby).

I'm drawn to both molten strike and tectonic slam, and have been doing the research on starter builds for both, and I could use some help deciding between the two as a new player with no currency yet and little time to farm wealth. Both skills suit my playstyle, and I'm usually a fan of higher single target damage so MS seems like the right choice over tectonic

MS Jugg seems to be more expensive as a starter build this league since grelwood shanks, and dying sun cost a handful of exalteds.

What are the common leveling weapons that only cost a couple chaps that people use before acquiring grelwoods? Ichimongi? Razors of 7th sun? Beltimbers?

Tectonic Slam seems to be capable with a pair of Razors, while molten strike seems to require many more build enabling uniques.

What's the consensus here? Would tectonic be a better fit for my situation? My goals are to just finish the campaign and dabble/learn about endgame. Maybe farm Lab, some maps, and kill a few bosses. Take a look at Delve and learn the mechanics to prepare for next league.

TLDR: How do you start playing MS without grelwoods on an 8C budget? Is tectonic with razors a better starter now?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 09:24 AM PST

Im looking for uniques/ways to add a decent ammount of damage to this build to ensure i can kill some endgame. Im not sure what is necessary for Shaper or any fights in particular but im just comin here for any advice. if this build works out i might take it to hardcore next season so i wanna see how it can scale. any help would be greatly appreciated! Currently breezing through 6-10 tiers.

Elemental Hit Scion - when to switch to BM?

    Posted: 26 Jan 2019 09:00 AM PST

I'm going for non-crit RT+BM Scion (following this guide https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2183938/page/1)

When is the time to switch to BM? When you get the Slayer leech?
