Posted: 02 Feb 2019 12:28 AM PST Hello Exiles! I finished 36/40 with my league starter build (ice crash jugg) and save a ton of currency (around 80ex). Now I want to focus more on rest of challenges (I think I will never do 40/40 though) and also want finally beat uber elder. Can you please suggest any good build in my budget with good structured guide? I spent several hours on official poe forum / youtube but there is so many builds :( What I want from build:
Skills:
I really liked cospri CoC on videos but when I looked on one streamer I find out he dies a lot on oneshots. Any suggestions please? Thanks a lot in advance! [link] [comments] |
Looking for build ideas with this sword Posted: 02 Feb 2019 01:53 AM PST So after a lot of expensive beast crafting, I have a sword I'm happy with. It's obviously not perfect since it doesn't have t1 physical damage. I know. But I'm pretty happy with the way it is now. I don't really have enough time or willpower in the league to continue imprinting anyway. It has t1 increased physical damage (prefix), t1 added lightning damage (prefix), and t1 attack speed (suffix). I have to craft on there multiple crafted mods (suffix) and flat physical damage (prefix). That leaves me one open suffix for crafting. This means that I don't have space for "hits cannot be evaded" on the sword. I think that's okay since I was planning on going jugg (to get a lot of flat accuracy) or champion anyway (to get the taunted enemies can't evade attacks). My first general question is: "What should the other crafted suffix be?" My guess is that this question can only be answered after determining the answer to my second question. My guess is chance to deal double damage. My other question is: "What main skill should I go for?" Obviously, I need an attack skill that can benefit from both from physical and lightning damage. My guesses are lightning strike or smite paired with the physical to lightning support gem. I've never played either, but from the description, lightning strike sounds more like a map clearing skill only. Thanks for any help! [link] [comments] |
[BSC] Helped needed with a Poison build Posted: 01 Feb 2019 07:51 PM PST I need some help with a build I've been trying to theorycraft. I've never played a poison build before, but with the new delve mods, it seems like it could be quite strong. So far, I've come with this: https://pastebin.com/QNdBciV2, but I'm still not 100% sure on how to best scale poison. I don't want to change ascendencies, or run something like Volkuurs.
I know my resists aren't set up, I just threw some random gear in there to test it out. Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Feb 2019 07:26 AM PST I wanna start my first MS build but there are so many options, budget atm is a little over 5 EX while having Dying Sun already. I would love to hear some experienced players thoughts about the pro/cons of the following builds: - Nebuloch Jugg, high Delve levels and easy to get weapons. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1971701/page/1 - Grelwood Jugg, expensive weapons but are they worht it?. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2056734 - HOWA Jugg, insane scalability but insane costs too? https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2277870 - Nebuloch Marauder, seems like the cheapest starter? https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2110129 - Claw Inquisistor, which looks really fun/strong imo but maybe has a problem if no immunity which Juggs will have. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1971701/page/1 - Occultist variant looks strong( Delve levels) but is way too expensive i think. Would love to hear the dps difference in weapons/ builds but mostly which one i should choose knowing my budget.. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Any help/suggestions for my MF windripper build? Posted: 01 Feb 2019 08:52 PM PST So I'll be honest, I for the most part went off a build guide but its somewhat outdated, is TS actually better than LS right now? Also, would it be worth switching to deadeye or staying with raider? Sorry I'm very new to MF, only reason I decided to make it is I got a decent-ish windripper on my main so decided why not give it a shot. I want to replace Thief's Torment, but I just can't maintain mana/life without it and get melted. I got rid of some leech nodes and Vaal Pact because of Thief's torment. Still having survival problems (I just started mapping on this character though) I'm willing to spend how ever many passive refunds I need to as long as it's not the whole tree lol. Most the gear I have on besides QotF and GoldWyrm is stuff i already had so I haven't put much into it luckily Anyways any advice regarding gems/links (Have been thinking TS lately I see it much more often than LS in other guides, just not sure if it would have a noticeable change on windripper) or tree changes would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys, sorry for the ramble. SSF Caustic Arrow 7.2k life 182k tooltip - LF improvements Posted: 01 Feb 2019 01:06 PM PST Hi Friends, This is my first ever SSF character (SSF Betrayal softcare), currently level 95 and /played is 8 days. Pretty much everything about the character can be seen on PoB here: https://pastebin.com/9zw4R8zG Anyway, overall it feels pretty strong, clear is good (150% MS with QS flask, 200% with QS + phase run), and pretty much insta kills all packs / rares, AoE is good with pathfinder ascendancy. Can do any map mod, have timeclasp ring (+ overcapped resists to stay capped with ring swapping) to do temp chains maps, mana leech gem swap for no regen (probably could swap a life for hybrid flask). I've gotten to 200 delve, but don't think I can really go much deeper as I am still pretty squishy for now. TL:DR: Please share advice / feedback on how to improve my character; And any questions feel free. Also to add, just got back from like 3+ year hiatus so a lot of the mechanics are still new to me, back when I last played 20k AoE dps was considered godly, lmao. [link] [comments] |
Newbie need help with Molten Flicker Build adjustments Posted: 01 Feb 2019 03:55 PM PST Hello, this is my first time using reddit to post anything so sorry if i posted somewhere wrong or anything like that. i have been playing poe since betrayal league so im fairly new and need some help with the build im using. i tried to use this build from the forums : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2180571 my pob: https://pastebin.com/index/36F6nap2 i thought my damage was pretty decent but after some friends reviewed my pob they said my damage is pretty bad for my gear. this build is supposed to be a flicker build but after using flicker for roughly a week, i swapped it with Wild Strike as ficker was giving me insane de-sync and rubberbanding. i didnt change much other than melee splash that was for flicker to Ancestaral call for Wildstrike. i followed the build tree pretty much except the nodes near the center where the build advices to take 3 projectile damage nodes while i took the 3 resistance ones to cap my resistance (as my rings/belt have good damage but bad ress so i thought they compensate for the lack of those nodes). so i want advice on what might be making me lack damage or what im supposed to improve, my friend said im doing around 900k molten strike dps and 200k wild strike dps but it should be higher. im not very unknowledged about dps calcuation as i only look at the spell tooltip in the left of pob info panel. any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
