Clearing trash seems fine, but I'm not confident going up tiers because of single target damage. Bosses, Einhart beasts or betrayal take a long time to kill using only ED. I just feel like shooting ED and then running in circles to cast ED again, repeat ad infinitum isn't really working for me. How on earth do people kill bosses with this build? [link] [comments]  | ||

It feels like a generalist build - great all-arounder for building starting wealth, but not particularly great in any area. I'm looking to level additional builds, as the league progresses and as I have time, that specialize in the following:
Side notes: I've been looking to try Divine Ire (shadow or inquisitor) and Summoner (witch) build, so if you have a build guide for either of those that lines up with either of the above specialists, please toss me a link to a build! I am following this guide: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2514647 It is directed at trade-league players, so I am curious about certain things when it comes to SSF: Does it matter whether I go for 1H or 2H in SSF, or is it better to go with either of these? I dont want to be stuck in white maps because I cant upgrade my weapons and the tree is somewhat different, so I would have to make a decision soon (already specced into at least 10 1H nodes, and I dont want to use regrets later when I can avoid it now). But i have enough currency to get end-game gear, so just can't decide which items & keystones) 1- What's the best chest piece for ED/Contagion Trickster? I'm thinking of buying one of those: The Perfect Form | Carcass Jack | Clock of Defiance | Shavronne's Wrappings | Cherrubim's Maleficence. But I'm not sure which one to choose. Can you help me with this choice? 2- I need a little help with my build preference. With the help of the poe.ninja, i was checked some of the high level, high dps characters. Some people have turned to pain attunement + zealoth's oath (with shavronne) Doing so, their dps is dramatically increased (about +1m dps) What do you think about that build, is it worth it? (Low life + High ES + High DPS) 3- If PA + Zealoth + Shavronne is not worth it, which keystones should I choose? I think this choice is linked to my choice of chest piece. (Like, some people use Phase Acrobatics and dont pick up phase acrobatics, or some people not using Mom at all) I love with my trickster ed. | Looking for a decent boss killer Posted: 16 Jun 2019 07:48 PM PDT I started this league of ED/Contagion and now I am looking for more of a boss killer to perhaps farm Uber Elder or something like that. I saw in previous leagues that some melee builds have insane attack speed and it looked pretty cool to destroy bosses like that, I don't really fancy playing cyclone as it is not my thing but is there anything out there that would be good? I was thinking of Mathil's viper strike as it looked like the kind of thing I am looking for. How does Herald of Agony builds do? Cyclone is a very appealing skill to me (and everyone else apparently). Jugg also seems like a naturally tanky class, which would be beneficial to a noob like myself. Are there any cyclone Jugg builds out there? Or, if I'm making too much of the Jugg thing, any other super beginner friendly cyclone builds? Bonus points for a good written guide with leveling tips. It doesn't clear quick enough, even with melee splash, ancestral call, and bleedsplosions. I'm only netting like 5c an hour and can't pass T8 maps on my budget. I can't manage to 6-link my chest either. Looking to just farm some early areas to respec the entire build. Any recommendations/guides? All Cyclone builds seem to be using mirror gear, not sure if it can hit red maps/guardians on a 5L or a budget. [link] [comments]  | ||

I never used Perfect Form and don't know how strong it is, and if i look for builds on PoE.ninja only Tricksters with ED seem to use it. I would have to try to 6L the Perfect Form so i that's also something i need to consider. Even if i hate to mention it. | Duelist Shaper/Uber Elder Farmer Options/Questions Posted: 16 Jun 2019 02:45 PM PDT Leveling a duelist now. looking to make a boss killer with some kind of pure phys + impale build. never really played melee before so i have a bunch of questions.
what skill? ive been reading about crashes with cyclone on shaper influenced bosses so that seems annoying unless fixed. BF prob has the same bug if channeling while phasing?
champ vs slayer? slayer seems nice all around, can get 8% crit, 20% cull or leech. champ seems nice with no accuracy needed, more impale and some tankiness.
1h dual wield vs 2handers. 2 handers seem nice if you craft a + fort weapon for a 7 link, but can also craft a maim chest + crit on elder chest if going the crit route.
Which leads into final consideration about crit vs non-crit. Ive seen a mix of RT and crit builds. does 1h vs 2h come into play here? i guess champs would never go RT seeing they cant miss anyway. [link] [comments]  | ||
