Help find more damage for ED Contagion trickster Posted: 03 Jul 2019 04:41 PM PDT I got the build to a point where I'm doing T15 maps with any mods without issue but I'm being told that I shouldn't try shaper until I have 400k shaper dps and close to 1m shaper dps for uber elder.. Any guidance on how to get more damage out of my build? The build I went with for runs Malevolence, Discipline, Temp chains (from neck), Despair Blasphemy, and Arctic armor (from chest). Thinking maybe its my aura nodes that need to be dropped but any input would be great. I'm kind of looking to be able to face-tank any of the mechanics while still being able to do good damage. As far as budget goes, I got super lucky early in the league with a double corrupt starforge and have been able to grow the currency from that into one in which there really isn't a concern as far as budget goes. HE says that there would not be a benefit of linking HOAG to a 6L. ​ But as a noob, I do not understand why it would not boost the damage? ​ Also on his POB Notes he mentiones something about making sure that Stombrand's Tooltip is showing 2 minimum chaos damage to ensure all hits roll poison. I dont understand this part of his guide, what is meant with this? Now it feels like its time to switch the build for something else. Im aiming for delves 400-500+ and wanna do the rest of the league challenges. I've been looking up to Toxic rain or then Cold snap + vortex builds, but have no idea how suitable those are. What is your recommendation? Struggling with cyclone survivability Posted: 03 Jul 2019 09:17 PM PDT Hey everyone, Ended up getting a Starforge on my first Shaper of the league, and quickly leveled a Slayer to play with it. Cyclone has been a blast, but I get absolutely 1shot by a lot of T15+ rares, esp from Legion. Even with Blood Rage, there just isn't enough leech. I browsed dozens of builds on poe.ninja, and most seem to have no leech at all. How are people surviving? So few players are actually running Acro/Phase Acro so I'm curious how they've made it to 95+ without complications. Weirdest Build Help Request Yet Posted: 03 Jul 2019 09:02 PM PDT Love the theorycraft aspect of the game, but I hate most of the skill visuals, especially on melee skills. I just find so much of it to be bland. Seems like the only time things look visceral is when you are massing Heralds. What actually looks awesome and engaging when mapping? Paid MTX not an issue at all. Recently tried Storm Brand cuz it looked great on paper but it wasn't very fun to play or to look at. One of my favourites of recent has been Cold Snap w the grasping hands mtx ++ automaton herald of ice. But there is always room to upgrade. Posted: 03 Jul 2019 12:06 PM PDT Hey everyone, I'm trying to build a cast on crit Ice Spear Deadeye with Snakepit and some chain explosions with Herald of Ice but I can't figure out which attack to use. Barrage has many arrows during it's attack and would be better for life gain on hit stuff but it seems.. inconsistent? the way it's fire makes me wonder how effective it is. Frenzy seems like it wouldn't be bad but even with a lot of attack speed invested in the gear I still seem to reach unsatifying levels of attack speed.
