| Help improving my blade vortex assassin Posted: 11 Sep 2019 02:50 AM PDT Hey, I'm looking for ways to better optimise my BV Assassin. I've managed to clear the game on it but still really struggle with high hp rares and dying myself. My problems is I can't give up damage for more defence or the other way around, I need ways to improve on both fronts. I also have no way of leeching or regening life aside from flasks which causes a lot of deaths. I have some currency to invest and can sell a lot of maps if i need more, any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]  | ||

So far, I'm leaning towards Fireball Elementalist (e.g. something like this: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/ignite-fireball-elementalist-build-guide-blight-3-8), but there are also a few Trickster builds out there that look interesting, though less fleshed out. My build is a Necromancer that is trying to use the heartbound Loop to create a spellcast loop. I'm currently in low tier maps and I'm having trouble with sustaining the damage from the mobs while my spellcast loop is going. | Looking for a minion instability skeletons build Posted: 10 Sep 2019 04:26 PM PDT I've found a couple of SRS versions of a minion instability build, so I may just suck it up and try that, but I'm fairly inexperienced with summoners and I don't know how easy it would be to convert one of those to a skeles version. The only minion build I've ever played was my very first build when I started in Incursion which was SRS, so I was hoping to change it up a bit. | Lazy build for clearing all content Posted: 10 Sep 2019 10:00 AM PDT As the title says I tend to like builds that don't require me needing both hands mashing buttons. I know mines are popular but not a fan of having to spam throw and detonate. Thinking a totem build, storm brand, fireball, OoS builds might be up my ally. Just looking for advice. | I'd like some help with a build in act 5 Posted: 10 Sep 2019 09:26 AM PDT Hey, I'm a new player and super lurker that's in act 5 and I seem to be struggling to do damage. I've been following this build guide: https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/blade-flurry-gladiator-build-guide-blight-38 and I've picked up every node on the upper left hand side of the tree that's in the guide. I just beat the high templar dude before Sin shows up, and that fight was an absolute slog. I feel like half the damage I did came from the bleed effect. Other half was blade fury, maybe. I died about 5 times despite doing a fairly good job dodging attacks (I think). Considering how quickly some people fly through the acts, I'm guessing that it's abnormal for bosses to be an annoying war of attrition. The last several bosses have felt the same way, and I'm also not doing that well against mobs - using life potions a lot. I've currently got blade flurry linked to onslaught support and faster attack speed. Haven't found many good links. I'm using blood fury to boost speed, and I'm not sure what else to do. Weapon: About the best I've found so far, reading about 150 damage total with combined physical and elemental. My hp is sitting at 2.2k. I seem to have lots of regen and life leach, but I'm still taking quite a bit of damage despite having almost maxed resistances. I'm not exactly sure what other information might be helpful. | Posted: 10 Sep 2019 11:28 AM PDT Do carrion golems buff the damage of itself only when non-golem minions are nearby? Or does it also buff your regular golems as well? The text says it only buffs itself on the first portion, but says it golems deals x% more in the latter part of the text What counts as nearby in order for it to get the buff? If I'm about a screen away with meatshield support on zombies will they still get the 80% more damage buff? Is the 80% more damage considered a buff affected be the elementelist ascendency? Thanks! Seems like the new necro ascendancy would be good for hybrid support damage just not sure on what to run.
