How to scam scammers (at least Div cards scammers) Posted: 01 Oct 2019 09:31 AM PDT I decide to write this post after I sold my 5th "The Doctor". It is pretty common today to scam you when you try to sold some expensive thing. If we talk about "The Doctor", it costs about 7.5-8ex last week, so what is the way to scam? ​ Buyer offer you exact price or a bit higher, necessarily divided into ex+c. When i selling it dor 8ex it was 7ex+196c When you star trading, he put offered price into trade window (for me it was 7ex), than close trade and trading again Now he is putting 1ex + 196c and accept trade If you was not attentive enough, you accept and now was scammed for 6ex So, what you can do with him? Of course, anyone who comes across this knows about the scheme and always double check the price. But you need to know, that scammers ofthen not attentive too, they want to scam you as fast as possible, so they put their currency in the trade window and hit the "Accept" button fast, they don't see what do you exactly put from your side. So, if i see, that buier close trade window first time, I already have my "Her Mask" card ready. When buyer offer me trade again and i see that he is put 1ex, I just put wrong Div card and hit accept button. It works pretty often, I think I can just do it for profit LOL I hope this method can helps someone. Personally i just tired when first 5 ppl who message me for buying card just try to scam me so i decide to do something funny with them xD P.S. T16 Phoenix clear with Frostblink as main skill. Posted: 01 Oct 2019 07:04 AM PDT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxeEvVmrpkY Used the +3 cold spell staff mod in combination with a +4 chest and empower to get frost blink to be lv 31 resulting in 2524 to 3785 base cold damage. Converting it to fire and using ignite prolif to make the cool down less problematic and deal with the aoe. The new stampede boots with anointment for fleetfoot lowers the cooldown a lot. Posted: 01 Oct 2019 02:09 AM PDT I come from China, tencent have made quite some ch toanges to their version of POE to make it more newbie friendly and probably more profitable as well. Below are some of the changes that I know of: The loot pet. This one probably is most famous/infamous one. It's not a one-time purchase, you pay for different tiers of loot pet for 7 days-90 days. Different tiers pet might have different capacity or functionality, I haven't purchased one so I don't know exactly the difference. Free passive refunds before 70. We all know what Poe can be pretty hard if your passive tree is not set up correctly. To attract those non-hardcore players, you can always completely re-do your passive tree before you hit 70. Resurrection token. This is obviously a P2W feature. I doesn't know what does it do exactly but I would assume it either A) let you resurrect without losing exp B) let you resurrect where you died, meaning you don't lose portals. Tencent will give out these tokens during special events like Christmas/holiday. In-game auction house. Not much to say, it's an auction house. just the regular AH you would expect. You do need to pay a small amount for verification purpose. A special servers for those who can't or doesn't want to grind. In these servers you can choose some selected builds and you will be given rare/unique gears during leveling. Not sure how things go in mapping. Player-binded currency. To prevent bots, all the currency you get before mapping (or certain level, forget the details) is binded to your player. I believe there is a in-game passive tree simulator/planner or something similar. You should be able to import certain build and can check the final tree in-game for reference. In this season they have released a battle pass where you need to purchase and gradually get rewards as you progress. Certain mtx you get from box can be sold to other players. Tencent will take their slack of course. I have only played the tencent version for about 1 hour or so.
