| Posted: 09 Dec 2019 06:15 PM PST I always wanted to jump on the Blade Vortex hype train (when it was THE meta skill back in the day) but ultimately ended up playing something else. So for Metamorph I want to finally give it a try (knowing that the League itself will probably have a lot of single target/bossing content). The thing is that I don't know which iteration of the skill would be better for leaguestarting. At the moment I've at least considered these options: 1- Hrimsorrow Lightning/Cold. 2- Pure Fire Chieftain. 3- Triple Herald Elementalist. 4- Eternity Shroud (this one is probably out, since it will be super hard to get the chestpiece). 5- Variations of n1 on Trickster, Pathfinder, Occultist, Ascendant and Inquisitor. 6- Poison Assassin. 7- Some people use a 6L Ethereal Knives for clearing and a 4L BV for single target, but don't know about that one. Have you guys played BV? What kind of approach did you have towards the skill? Do you think it is a good idea to go for a BV league-start or is it better to just play it safe and go for something else? Thanks! _^ [link] [comments]  |
| Can I share a tree between ED\Cont and Soulrend? Posted: 10 Dec 2019 02:29 AM PST I'm always torn on ED vs Soulrend. Will probably level as one and wish I'd used the other. I'd expect the passive trees to be very similar, both skills being chaos dots wanting some aoe range. The gear might be different, but I rarely farm enough in a league to get the end-game gear anyway. [link] [comments]  |

As a guardian, you can't even get 4 spectres easily right? 21 (gem) + 1 boot + 2 wand (hard to get too). You can:
Coupled with nerfs to the feeding frenzy and zombies, what do you think about this build now?

| Posted: 09 Dec 2019 04:11 PM PST Hello, my friends and I start in a private league for the first 20-30 days of league (so think of it as group self found we don't sell to each other just pool gear etc). I want to start the league with a wander and I wanted to try power siphon. I put this tree together with early late game gear and wanted opinions or suggestions if any of you had some. | Posted: 09 Dec 2019 11:08 PM PST What do you think about Essence Drain Trickster for a 3.9 starter? I know Essence Drain is a good League starter for a long time and I play it very often. Will it go well with the Metamorph-content? Because single target is not the strength of this build even if single target damage is not so bad. I also had the feeling when going ED as starter that there was a kind of wall when hitting red maps. Until red maps everything is super smooth and screens pop instant and bosses did not take too long. But with higher tier maps I also had the feeling the build slows down even when you invest in better gear [link] [comments]  |

Problem: The dps is very low (in my opinion) the shaper DPS is 41k ignite DPS and 51k total DPS ( 91K dps combine), the gear that I created is not the best is something to aim in the first days of the league. (No rings or chest since it is a tabula and resistance rings so no extra dps there) Questions:

I'm looking find out which gems to grab for each quest in addition to what skill points to grab while leveling up. I watched Kammel's video and he's going too fast to grab a leveling tree from as well it being a little hard to understand why certain gems are grabbed since hes going so fast. I also looked at AngryRoleplayer's guide but he doesn't go into detail for the leveling process. | Current best ascendancy for storm brand boss killing? Posted: 09 Dec 2019 07:19 AM PST Hey guys took a few leagues off so not sure on this one. I see most storm brand characters ar currently assassins but I wasn't sure if that was the optimal choice or if that was more flavor of the league syndrome. I would like to be able to league start and upgrade the character over time to an endgame bosskiller with some investment but overall I'm not sure if assassin is the correct choice or if the tried and true inquisitor or even hierophant would he better? | Vaal Double Strike starting tips? Posted: 09 Dec 2019 02:29 PM PST Hi, I'm planning to do a double strike gladiator in metamorph league as I've just put one together on standard with cheap-ish gear and I love it. Has anyone got any experience with transitioning into such build from a league starter? Any tips would be appreciated. I'm thinking that going generic DW sunder until merc lab (challenger charges + bleed pops) then start using VDS after killing a10 kitava. Do you think it's better to wait until 5 link is obtained to start using double strike? 4 link VDS seems a bit whack (as 2 out of 3 supports are going to lower my damage - splash and AC). Nevertheless, I'm looking for a build for 3.9 that is good to play at the start of a league and in which you can potentially invest multiple Exa over the course of the league to make it perfect. | Posted: 09 Dec 2019 11:05 AM PST Hey, I got the idea for using Storm Burst as a means to apply poison because I just remembered that Voltaxic exists. The idea is to take advantage of Storm Burst's many hits and use Voltaxic's lightning to chaos conversion to get as much poison damage out of it as possible. I feel like I'm hard stuck and the damage is trash. I intend on using it as my league starter. Pathfinder for extra Coralito's uptime, extra chaos damage, and more poison damage, as well as the built in poison prolif that Pathfinder has. Problem is I feel like there's a complete lack of shown damage on the PoB. [link] [comments]  |
| Help with beginner inquisitor build! Posted: 09 Dec 2019 09:29 AM PST Hello everyone! I'm trying to build a lightning damage melee inquisitor but couldn't find much about it. I started playing like 10 days ago and didn't go very far yet (highest char is 78 HF totem hiero) and I'm just trying out different builds to start on next season. Basically, I'm thinking about: Main Skill - Smite or Wild Strike (with 2 combat jewels to proc lightning only) +Orb of storm - Arcane surge - Onslaught Inquisitor ascendancy: Instruments of virtue, Sanctuary, Pious Path, Righteous Province Questions: -I just want a fun build to clear maps and not struggle too much on bosses, can something like this work for late game content or is it just bad and random? -What weapon should I pick for this build and passive tree points: dual wield sceptre or staves? Both seems to be the best options for this kind of build providing physical and spell/elemental damage, but not sure about which uniques or rares would fit the best. Staves looks great and got a lot of passive points on the tree, but scepter seems to have some strong options (singularity, doryani's, augyre) -Didnt do a proper POB full build yet, just wanted to know what people think about this before wasting time on that Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance [link] [comments]  |
