| Posted: 01 Dec 2019 12:45 PM PST I've been looking at an essence drain contagion build for my league starter next league as I've bought the skill mtx while they were on sale. I know the build is good, but I'm wondering which guide to follow. Ziz has a guide for the build as his legion starter, but I'm worried that might be a bit outdated, and the path of exile builds YouTube channel has one too, but that seems more clear speed focused. I'd love a build that can clear the single target requirements, and actually consistently kill bosses very safely. Which would y'all recommend? [link] [comments]  |
| Planning Starter for 3.9: Stormbrand Assassin Posted: 01 Dec 2019 05:51 AM PST Hi guys, I've played the last few leagues to red maps with my starter every time. This time I'm trying to find a build that I can get 100% completion on and actually beat end game. Obviously it's not Uelder anymore, but yeah... Anyways, I've been told that despite nerfs stormbrand is still good and I remember its playstyle being super fun in Incursion when I messed around with it a little. I wanted to see if I could make an Assassin work with Stormbrand, since I really enjoy the Assassin's crit-based playstyle. Anyways: PoB: https://pastebin.com/7RSt4Rcm Loreweave, Void Batteries, obviously will take a little to farm. I've really worked with the pathing a little to try and squeeze <160% life on there, but I know I'm missing damage as a result. Still, seems absurd to run anything below <150 on red maps. | Bleed Gladiator for 3.9 League Start Posted: 01 Dec 2019 12:24 PM PST Hi Guys, I was looking for a reliable build that I had not yet played so I wanted to try a max block Gladiator with a good amount of life and enough DPS to one shot t16s on about a 20 ex budget. I've come up with the following character based on some builds I saw on poe.ninja: I am not 100% sure about the build though, I would welcome some input specifically on Gear, as well as any glaring omissions, as I haven't really played melee outside of Molten Strike Juggernaut. | Posted: 01 Dec 2019 11:48 AM PST I would like to try the new bow gems and skills in the next update but I do not like evasion and dodge as a defense. I like builds that are more tanky and heavily based around mitigation. What good tanky bow builds are there? [link] [comments]  |

| Theorycrafting an Inquisitor for 3.9 - Frostbreath + Shield, Ice Crash centered. Posted: 01 Dec 2019 09:07 AM PST I originally played back in Abyss League and the character I was playing duo with my GF was a Frostbreath + Icecrash centric build. I went away from the game for quite a while and came back and found him hard reset on skill tree. I have tried to port it to 3.8 from 3.1 - and I got feedback from one person over in the main POE subreddit. I'm assuming that 3.9 probably won't bring huge changes that affect this build - but also won't be actually spending his skill points until I confirm that. Abilities:

| Help with Storm Brand Occultist Posted: 01 Dec 2019 05:04 AM PST Hey, I made a SB Occulist build which gonna be my league starter. The goal is to reach red maps and farm currency until I can respec to LL vortex/cold snap. Not quite sure on the SB links? Currently I plan to use power charge on crit - controlled destruction - lighting pen - inc crit strike as 5 link. With this I could go dual curse on my OoS setup and go Herald of Ice (+ innverate) + Wrath + Precision for auras. An alternative would be power charge on crit on OoS setup, run blasphemy with enfeeble and don't use HoI. Which would open up a better link for Storm brand? Not really sure, also with tree. Maybe I should get more power charges or not worth it without using void batterys? [link] [comments]  |
