Easiest leveling in each class Posted: 10 Jul 2020 03:47 AM PDT Hi everyone! We have mid league and even for slow players like me its time to build a new char. I am considering several options with favourite being Assassin CoC Ice Nova on Cospris and Cyclone, but nevertheless I would like to exchange information in this thread for all classes. Leveling mid league is very different compared to a league starter. First, we can equip leveling gear for 30-50c (tabula & other uniques). Second, and much more important: we can easily invest 50-60c into regrets and go completely other tree and even other ascendancy! The only thing we cannot change is the class. I can share my experience, for templar leveling if you need like lvl80-85, fastest and most relaxed way for me is Hierophant with Arc totems, this way I leveled my herald stacker in Delirium. So probably my own question would be how to level Assassin if you have dozens of chaos or even couple ex for leveling gear and enough regrets to completely reskill the tree. But it would be cool to also hear the opinions and experience for all 7 classes. Thank you and stay safe! [link] [comments]
Is it worth to restart if i screwed Posted: 09 Jul 2020 10:12 PM PDT Heey! This is my firsr time playing PoE and built a slayer. The thing is that i followed a guide from 3 season ago i didnt realized till i was level 50 :'( Is it worth to start over with another character? Or i just finish with this one and then i create a new one with the correct build for late game? Thank youu! [link] [comments]

Help finding a fun build to play Posted: 09 Jul 2020 05:06 PM PDT I've been playing BL miner since the beginning of the league and I'm kind of capable of doing all the game content. I have around 52ex available to invest in a cool build. It can be any game style, I like most mechanics related to builds in general, but the ones I like the most are boss killers with a reasonable clearspeed. Thanks for the recommendations [link] [comments]
Build that can clear 5 way legions, 100% delirium maps and simulacrum. Posted: 09 Jul 2020 01:51 PM PDT Hello, although my starter build has served me well(VD spellslinger), I'm afraid it's not really up to par for these challenges. I can clear 5 way legions, but it's too slow. My single target damage is simply too low to deal with 100% delirium maps and I haven't even attempted simulacrum. Anyway, I'm looking for a new build that can comfortably clear these challenges. Budget isn't really an issue by this point but I'd rather not spend a mirror just to get the build going. Need assistance, I am one squishy boi Posted: 09 Jul 2020 11:59 PM PDT I tried 2 builds using Gladiator duelist, one facebreaker Cyclone (clear speed was atrocious) and currently a split arrow/puncture bleed bow from MBextreme Current PasteBin https://pastebin.com/9ZWJ2U04 This current build is so damn squishy I cant lv past 88 since I die so fast, and my damage atm is so low I cant kill bosses effectively. Currently have 100 chaos left and not sure what to do, any help is super appriciated. Not sure if I should once again do another build switch or if I can effectively change this build to make it viable. [link] [comments]
how is wild strike all around? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 04:55 PM PDT was looking for a new build and watched esoro's guide on it. Seems really cool with all its chaining capabilities but how well can it handle bosses? Also he played it as raider is that still the best choice? Thanks! [link] [comments]

What to do next for my raise zombie necro build? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 09:02 PM PDT I've hit a bit of a gearing wall on my zombie necro not really sure what I should be buying next. I have spectres too but I'm mainly using them to buff my zombies with charges and shields. I have about 2-3 ex in currency at my disposal. Would appreciate any advice or insight as to what my next purchase should be. Or even things I should change about my current build. Can do up to t12 maps comfortably but die too frequently on higher tiered maps. Character is minionwalnut https://www.pathofexile.com/account/sony/view-profile/Living_walnut/characters Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2020 07:59 PM PDT I love quill rain but I dont know what builds are viable for it right now. I want to maybe go for explosive arrow since it's a bit niche but I am waiting to see what you guys come up with :) [link] [comments]
Zombies, specters, or skeletons? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 03:49 PM PDT Id like to make a summoner but can't decide. Is there on that can do it all? Mage skeles seems neat as does specters, zombies seems pretty straightforward. [link] [comments]
Frost Blades (Berserker vs Raider vs Assassin) Posted: 09 Jul 2020 11:43 AM PDT Hello all, I've been quite interested in playing a frost blades character but from what I've read and watched, no single ascendancy stood out to me. They all seemed viable so I ask the question which one would be the smoothest and has the best QOL? I get the fact that frost blades doesn't have very good single target unless I really dump currency into it and that's ok. I'm looking to farm more white and yellow and maybe early red maps and even delve anyway. Frost blades just seemed like such a fun clearing skill and I wanted to give it a try. Also, I guess your answer will determine the answer between claw vs swords vs dagger(s) [mainly White Wind] too 😊 If you have any suggestions and recommendations regarding this topic please let me know!! Thanks!! [link] [comments]
How to get a HoT autobomber started? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 08:15 AM PDT I've been looking at HoT autobomber builds but all I could find were very min maxes characters. Can anyone tell me what I need to get it going? What would I need to be comforable in T16s? How would I level the build? When can I make the change to HoT? I'd appreciate your help! :) EDIT: Also, how does a HoT Assassin keep up HoT? My understanding is that HoT itself cannot shock. [link] [comments]
New Player Build Help w/PoB - (Arc Elementalist) Posted: 09 Jul 2020 02:58 PM PDT Hello, as the title says I am new to Path of Exile, with this being my first league but not my first character. I am seeking peer advice because I lack any barometer or metric to gauge how bad my build is. From following guides, I have gotten three cookie cutter builds to the Atlas; while not all that difficult, I have been informed that this is where the real game starts. Wanting to really grasp the fundamentals I decided to make another character, and try out my "own build." Currently lvl. 77, Arc Elementalist Witch and just reached the atlas. The Trade Market is potentially the most daunting thing for a beginner, which is accentuated by the fact I am on PS4. If I happen to find something I like it takes an incredible amount of time to even get my offer denied. Here are the result so far: Arc Elementalist I need help evaluating everything from:
As for a little background to my current game experience, I have written up what classes I used so far: I chose Marauder, purely because of my predilection to Conan the Barbarian archetypes/tropes. I explored the various gameplay avenues available, and settled on Cyclone and Leap Slam with Totems. I tried other melee abilities as well such as Ground Slam, Tectonic Slam, and Sunder. Fire Cyclone Chieftain taught me firstly about Sustain and Elemental Resistance, but also about the secondary cast of skill Gems that amplify your main skills(e.g. Herald of Ash/Anger) My next build was Zombie Necromancer, with obvious Skeletons, Spectres, Golems. This was an absolute cake walk, with my only death until Act 10 belonging to Merveil because I got overconfident. This build taught me more about support gems and links(Curse on Hit Support), putting emphasis on prioritizing loot and evaluating it. I also learned more about how the Skill Tree interacts with your character and skills, as well as (but not limited to) how these changes affect Monster interactions(e.g. Elemental Equilibrium). The last build I followed was ED/Contagion and Blight Trickster, which gave me another level of comprehension to the layer of skill/spell interaction. I learned more mechanical interactions from this build such as combo and enemy modifiers. At this time, I realized the multitude of options and depth there is to crafting and upgrading loot(currency, vender recipes, mastercraft, or league based items/mechanics). I decided to take what I learned and apply it to my "own build." I settled on Witch, since it was a class that I had played so I was at the very least in familiar territory. I read through the available skills and playstyles available, and settled Elemental Spellslinger. I breezed my way through everything and have reached the Atlas, but I sensed a plateau/wall ahead and I want to know how to approach fine tuning this build. tl;dr I am an obvious noob, and am insanely in over my head trying to evaluate everything(weapons/gear, gem links, skill tree) and fine tune my first build [link] [comments]
Mjolner in SSF (and a 6l QotF), Raider or Assassin? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 06:22 PM PDT I've never played either of these ascendancies into endgame. I started Harvest(sc) CA/TR Trickster and generally enjoy the CA clear but TR isnt feeling great on bosses and I just ripped my +2bows/+1gems/+1arrow bow in the temple looking for a double corrupt; my backup bow feels A LOT worse than I expected it to so motivation to grind or do conqs is basically zero. I dropped a Mjolner early on that's been rotting in my stash and I've never used one or played CoC/CwC; historically I've stayed away from CoC bc I fear my computer will melt/explode but I'm giving in to the allure of possible one button/cyclone clear. And I would hope this will be somewhat less graphically intense than dual cospri's. I think the biggest thing here is that if I feel like the clear is relatively mindless and it's fast/safe, this will turn into my first ever 100 push. I'd love to be able to spam t11/14 Strand/Trop Island/JungValley/ToxSewers really quickly as long as the bosses dont take 30sec. I have: So I guess your job is to sway me between: Is Arc a clear winner in Mjolner? [link] [comments]
3 build options, low budget of 50c. Which to choose? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 06:21 AM PDT So I'm not great at making currency, but I got 50c on my BL miner so far. I'm wanting to start a new build, and I'm wondering which of these could be taken the farthest with my small budget. 1) Spectre necromancer, I'm currently looking at Kay's Pure Spectre build 2) Bleed Gladiator with Split Arrow/Puncture, I have a fair bit of experience with Glad from getting one to level 90 so I can find a build easily or make my own, but I have little experience with bows. 3) Molten Strike Jugg, using either DW or grelwood shank/shield My main priorities are not dying constantly (I got pretty annoyed with my miner dying 2/3 times per map), able to deal High single target. The clear speed doesn't have to be amazing, it's not a priority, just not painfully slow. [link] [comments] |
