Running Ziz's ED Contagion, going forward after Red maps Posted: 24 Sep 2020 01:05 AM PDT I'm running Ziz's latest max block eva ED Contagion wand/shield build, can't really find any popular, up to date builds like it. At like 12 watchstones, I'm just running a 4L cane of unravelling with Allelopathy, sitting around 7-8k eHP hybrid. In regards to end game (a7 sirus onwards) I have a feeling I'll need big investment to make the build work. All I have planned is just +1 chaos spell wand/shield with cdot multis on everything and going CI, switching to ES gear when I have enough points. I can already feel bossing slowing down with 6L ED (after all I have no CDOT multi other than cane). I have about 5-6ex saved up and if I'm going to switch, I like max block builds (played max block hollow palm), can any ED-C veterans give their thoughts? edit: I just did A3 Drox, took really long lol edit2: day old pob for reference https://pastebin.com/AyaDdL1x, has lower eHP but same skills, swapped out energy leech for Empower lvl 3 things I know need upgrading: I was using despair/bane for bossing, will need to change to wither/spell totems. Posted: 23 Sep 2020 09:49 PM PDT Hi, I've made a bleed bow gladiator as my league starter and I'm wondering how I can improve it.I'm currently at level 87 in yellow tier maps and I feel like my damage isn't that good in T10 maps and that my character is relatively squishy.I've saved up my currency and have 4ex+ to spend to improve this character and I'm wondering what to spend it on.If anyone could help me with that would greatly be appreciated.Any gameplay tips regarding the playstyle would help as well. Here is my POB link:https://pastebin.com/kqUCcdDf Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Sep 2020 10:33 PM PDT For my second build of the league, I want to use the new +50% qual +8 gem level helmet with alt qual firestorm to get the biggest meanest possible meteors. I've drawn up a generic fire damage tree, but I don't know if it'll really work. Can someone help me make a tree for it, or help improve the tree I've got? POB: https://pastebin.com/NwwgZkcj EDIT: I'm thinking about using 2 socket tombfists and replica shroud of the lightless, and filling all jewel sockets with double added fire abyss jewels to maximize the bonuses from the helmet and make the meteor do damage [link] [comments]
I WANT TO REROLL FROM HEXBLAST SEND HELP Posted: 24 Sep 2020 02:08 AM PDT Hexblast is cool, I said. Playing Mathil's build on league start is a good idea, I said. Here is me now with a bad tree and every skill in the game except hexblast because I'm too noob to press 5 button in order and maintain flask like Mathil. Rant is over. I would like to reroll to a fun build, only requisite is no trickster or mine because I always use them. What fun build has been successful until now? [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Sep 2020 07:49 PM PDT A bit of context : I just rolled my first nutty High Templars which happen to give +5 to socketed Warcry skills. I was pretty excited and instantly wanted to make a new character to take advantage of that, but when I checked what Warcries got with level scaling (as I never used any Warcry skill I didn't even know exactly what they did), I was pretty disappointed to see that they mostly only gained a tiny bit of cast speed and duration. Could any experienced Warcry user tell me if it'd be worth it to level an Earthshatter zerker (for instance) solely for those gloves, or would they be just a minor plus to an already strong build ? Because those gloves also give +5 to stuff like Soulrend or EK (they give +1 to all, +2 to duration, +2 to projectiles, +2 to warcries), but the fact that those are spells that are most likely meant to be main spells and thus on a 6L makes me like the Warcry thing better. Thoughts ? [link] [comments]
where can i find this build please? Posted: 24 Sep 2020 03:37 AM PDT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6t3kJHZU67k he has the PoB link in the comment section but im not good at understand it, is there any link to a build from the official PoE website/poeninja? please [link] [comments]
Is crackling lance really that bad? Posted: 23 Sep 2020 11:34 PM PDT Been maining standard for a long time, but I want to try a new league now. I cant seem to find other spells than crackling lance which looks fun I dont care about clearing maps super fast, I rather want a build that kills bosses fast rather than maps.. thoughts? And if it is so bad, wont GGG buff it either way? [link] [comments]
How picky should I be looking for a +1 spectre chest Posted: 23 Sep 2020 04:49 PM PDT Should I hold out for one with 100+ life or just go for an 80+ life one? I'm assuming prices will go up as the league goes on. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Sep 2020 01:49 AM PDT How bad is flame surge, i cant find anyone making flame surge builds now. Edit: so it has good dps but bad clear, what skill would you suggest for clear, that is not ignite based and preferably deals fire damage. [link] [comments]
Looking for help creating a build Posted: 23 Sep 2020 06:06 PM PDT Hi all! There is a unique in the game that I'd REALLY like to make a build around -- Namely, Balefire. (Big fan of the Wheel of Time books that inspired it) I'm aware that it's not considered one of the greatest uniques outside of niche cases like clearing HoGM. I'm not quite sure HOW to approach creating a build around it, however -- I've played primarily with lightning skills so far and have only been playing for two leagues. I know how to scale lightning into endgame content, but I don't know how to work around channeling and ignite and possibly conversions? Anyways, I'm hoping to open up a dialogue here and get some thoughts. If you were going to make a build around level 25 Scorching Ray, how would you do it? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Cyclone CoC Ethereal Knifes dumb idea Posted: 24 Sep 2020 04:39 AM PDT So we all know Cyclone CoC works with Ethereal Knives, but i had a revelation when i saw the new "Hidden Blade" dagger, but i'm not sure if this would function as i would think it does. The idea is: to use Voidwalkers or be a raider to be permanently Phasing, link another CoC to the hidden blade and Blade Blast to that. Would this trigger Bladeblast on the Ethereal Knives? or am i a big poo poo head that has the dumb dumb? [link] [comments]

Archmage Arc Ascendency and general questions Posted: 24 Sep 2020 03:47 AM PDT So as the title suggests, I want to make an archmage arc build but I'm mostly torn on what ascendency. The main thing I want to do is to run red maps fast and melt bosses. On paper I feel assassin is the best for this, but I'm super unsure how the mana sustain will feel. I see necro and heiraphant as the most played ascendencies on PoENinja. Has anyone played or are playing either of those 3? What're your thoughts and experiences? [link] [comments]

D3 Exploding Palm Build in PoE? Posted: 24 Sep 2020 03:02 AM PDT Hi friends, So I'm looking for a build that basically explodes packs much like the Exploding Palm Monk from D3 . I've played Fire BV Chieftain with the explody chest and CoC Assassin in the past, but I'm wondering if there are other builds that can do the same without relying on an explody chest or Asenath's? I'm thinking maybe a crit Storm Brand Assassin can achieve the same, but I haven't played one before and I haven't seen a lot of builds on it this league. I heard it's bugged at the moment. Maybe someone one with experience playing it can enlighten me? My main focus will be on clear speed - I just love exploding packs. Please hit me with all your suggestions. Thanks! I can't stop not playing summoner. I need something more visually stunning and explodey Posted: 23 Sep 2020 12:21 PM PDT Edit: title. My dumb summoner brain doesn't work. "I can't stop playing summoners" is the correct grammar. Every league I roll a summoner. I try a few other builds here and there, but none come close to the boss killing ease that it does with very little investment or piano playing. I've got a couple EX to start rerolling into something new. I want something explodey, relatively tanky if I can't just walk away like I can with summoner, and will still be able to take out most bosses in sub 30 seconds. Firestorm interests me because it's such a visually stunning skill, but I see the damage is in the dumpster right now and its hard to scale very high. Herald chain explosions are always a yes - ice shot is cool, but boss damage sucks without a ton of investment. I might like a slam skill, but the piano play style of rotating through warcrys is a no no for me. Proliferation is interesting. What do? [link] [comments]
What is your thoughts on bleed shat glad? Posted: 23 Sep 2020 08:13 PM PDT Here's what we know: 1) This league is pretty rippy. 2) Shattering steel scales with hits and ailments (bleed) in close range. 3) Shattering steel kinda works like a shotgun-revolver hybrid. Shoot 6 times, reload, shoot 6 times. Except your reload is like an explodey chest. This fast period of attacking means that crimson dance isnt too hard to stack up in theory. Champion is the clearly the obvious pick due to the fact that the steel skills are impale, and champ scales impale. The thing is, the way this league seems to be, I don't think fortify will be enough. You'd need block. And not just the attack projectile block from the shattering steel, I mean legitimate block. Especially because you'd be up close and personal as this skill is more rewarding the closer you are to the enemy from what I can tell (and also from the tooltip info). I was going to go another Lacerate gladiator for league start in SSF, but to be completely honest it feels like Lacerate needs so much attack speed to not feel like your shoes are filled with ceme.nt...Its mega clunky until your blood rage is high, you have invested in attack speed from the tree, etc. I leveled up both along the way, and I'm not going to lie I think at every point bleed shat glad felt better. While I am a 5 Liter gamer right now in SSF and only level 77 with no uber lab, barely getting into maps (lots of t1-3 maps, Heist contracts), you can see my gear and you can see my proposed passive tree....nothing crazy and Lacerate is built pretty similarly (just remove Iron Grip). With all that context, here's my PoB. 100% of all my current self-found gear, with the proposed build to 90. Wanted to get your thoughts on this. I think this could be very competitive with Lacerate, but if you guys think Lacerate will outperform Shattering Steel 100% on any build, I'm down for that feedback. Likewise if Lancing Steel is the way to go, or Splitting. Shattering just felt the best to me. [link] [comments]
Any recommendation for autocast build? Posted: 24 Sep 2020 01:55 AM PDT I know wrecker of days StressFreePoE Builds and also the newer format, but they lack some things for me: Clearspeed and Movementspeed. Also, the only one appealing ones are the (discontinued?) vortex build and the RF one. (I like to see what I do and where I walk, thus golemancer/ Minionmaster would not appeal to me at all). I currently play an ED/C Trickster (boring meta slave, I know) but learned, that the part of Bane/ Contagion could be automated. Yet the guiy mentioning it did not explain how. I am currently trying the following build guide: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2581551/page/1 It is quite potent, but I;d like to focus on zooming through the maps rather and only have to kill the occasional rare or unique mobs rather than keep standing every little step. Can someone explain me how I can melt white and blue mobs just by dashing through ? Is it even still possible? And more importantly, achievable with low budget? I do not even have my first ex yet. The only time this got mentioned was in legion league and that is some time ago. Thank you all in advance for your time and hopefully input. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Sep 2020 07:50 PM PDT Hey guys, need help, Every season I try new builds and I reroll very often after lvl 70 because I am not satisfied. However, since I hate doing the acts, I am looking for build(s) that have gameplay which I like. I am a super casual player who does not want to finish the game and min max, just kill mobs by dozens after a working day What I like in a build: - Not too many skills to use: left click, right click, movement skill, and maybe another skills but prefer no - No need flasks except on boss - Tanky enough (like not insta dying in lab or insta dying by trashes if I blink) - Decent clear speed and decent single target - Fast attack - Smooth and active gameplay - Direct damage, not a 2 steps skills (like ED or Blade blast) Builds I like but I want to change: - Lacerate: I think the one I prefered - Cyclone I am not against spell self cast but except Arc, which I don't like, did not really tried Thanks to anyone who read this to the end! Archmage fireball or Normal fireball(trickster/ignite) Posted: 23 Sep 2020 09:53 PM PDT I'm playing Norma fireball trickster as a starter, just hitted AWL 4 and t14+maps, did some conquerors with GMP and no clusters yet, so much possible upgrades till sirus 8, but I saw many players going to the archmage route, its worth? best all around build for discharge now? Posted: 23 Sep 2020 07:33 PM PDT mix of bossing and mapping/heist. some sort of CoC or I see a lot of people on ninja are converting it to fire and playing it chieftain? [link] [comments]
beginner, which are the 'ultimate' summoner classes? Posted: 24 Sep 2020 01:29 AM PDT if i want to try a summoner class, is it either "carrion golem" or "raise spectre" that i pick between? i dont really like how they clutter the entire screen, but i guess there is no summoner class with fewer summons but stronger?
