| Endgame LL Carrion Golem Necro - Next Upgrade Recommendations Posted: 02 Nov 2020 12:35 AM PST I have decided to take my current LL Carrion Golem Necro to the extreme end-game instead of re-rolling a new build, and was hoping to get some guidance advice towards my next few best upgrades. My current character has about 60-70 EX invested into him and I have 50 EX in pure currency that is ready to go (and about another 30 EX in hot-ticket items waiting to sell). I realize my remaining upgrades may be minor and expensive, but as I am not a veteran player I presume there are likely still a few gaps in my gear as well that you experts can help me with. My main goal is to increase mapping clearspeed in juiced and delirium maps, and then to make my character a little closer to invincible as I'd like to get to level 100. All input is appreciated! I had been making a flicker strike guardian but messed it up, I ended up using terminus est but I started with a shield build, so maybe I can repurpose it as a boss killer. | SSF - solid step by step guide Posted: 02 Nov 2020 03:54 AM PST Hello all, I always played only trade league (from 3.2 so I have some game experience) and since I already finished this one by reaching 40/40 I want to try join some private SSF league (non HC first ;)). I tried this weekend to level TR char on SSF (8 hours I need to improve a lot :D) but I find out that leveling is not "hard part" in SSF but progression after A10 Kitava is. I dont care much about tree progression there I can make my decisions since I more less know what to go for but gear progressions is something where I have no clue since I'm used to buy what I need from market. Most guides dont take in consideration that you can get that cheap 1c unique item / rares with needed rolls. I tried to google some pure SSF oriented build guide (ideally with some craft advices etc) but sadly nothing good or really outdated :( Can you reccomend any solid build with good guide? Despite the continuous nerfs I still manage to make one each league. recently saw the armour stacking build which generically boost your attack damage. | LL CoC Ice Nova build, need some help and tips Posted: 01 Nov 2020 04:38 PM PST Hey guys, it's my second season in PoE and this time i decided to go for CoC ice nova, since none of my friends played this build before and none of them are still playing this season i figured i could ask for some help here since i do still have some doubts on how to roll the build ever further and what's better on paper upgradesto get first (and maybe even fix the build if i've fucked up something). Here is my PoB: https://pastebin.com/jaNCsC0u By lurking PoBs of ladder players on PoE ninja and slighty modifying to my needs i came up with this ,basically i chose to run a LL setup that used clusters and made use of the most universal jewels that most people played for this build in particular. I found a guy that had all those requirements on paper and i copied the skeleton of the tree except some minor changes like dropping zealot oath(i did not have any particular regen to make use of and felt like unnecessary) and dropped 3 slots that led to another cluster socket where he just placed his watcher's eye there, while i plan to place it on the medium that was also different, on his cluster he went for the 8% aura and 1% regen notable and the commander that boosted hatred and just connected those investing only 3 points, while i dropped points to pick the common points that boosted all auras with res to enhance all my auras and helps me to better fixing my res on top of getting more value from points spent compared to the mana and and cluster socket the guy picked on the left of the 3,atleast it looked better in my mind. Question number one is,are there better setups on the 6 L? i've seen many people running different setups and i've always wondered what was the best dps wise, i saw most of them had in common inspiration support( damage and mana costs i think) and awakened added cold damage(guess one of the best scalers for this specific build) and i took those 2 for granted while the hypotermia slot was pretty much different in most PoBs,i took it cause reading it i thought it was good on paper but maybe i'm not taking something in consideration of my setup and something else would be better. My main doubts are crit chance scaling with flasks off, and if i do still need boots to reach the cdr breakpoint atm to be in line with my cyclone as or not. For example is there a certain breakpoint for the crit chance with flasks off were you would consider it acceptable? From my point of view i would upgrade my gloves to fingerless silk gloves for the extra dps, get tailwind boots(or cdr if i need to), get better rings with herald of ice aura buff and cold damage,and in the end get a watcher's eye, also if i feel like i want to push levels i could get myself another aura medium cluster slotted in(the first one i got recommended here on reddit felt so good that why not going for another lmao),those are imo the upgrades i should get outside of corruptions for uniques or jewels. Regarding Watcher's Eyes what's the best 1 mod and 2 mods to get for my build? for example when i look at the mods the ones that caught my eyes the most were the es on hit from discipline and all the hatred ones, but i have no clue on which of them are stronger and why or if there are others that are just as good if not better. Is there a priority order in what to get first on paper?am i doing something wrong? all tips and help is appreciated ,ty for reading through all of this, hopefully it's not too clunky to read. Easily got one-shot by possessed boss, or some jump-in exiles, or delirium mobs. Do you have any suggestions? Your advice on either the survivability or the dps would be appreciated. | Posted: 01 Nov 2020 05:10 AM PST Am leveling my second character in ssf heist sc, was going to do specter summoner, and ended up dropping a Baron. Is it worth it to swap to a Baron zombiemancer? I've also got a pair of Meginord's Vises. Or is it better to just go on with the specters? I've got a low lvl +1 specter chest (ilvl 77) but that's pretty much it. Going for a summoner cause got stuck with upgrading my ED trickster which is having a hard time with high tier maps/bosses and I would like to kill shaper, elder and awakener all for the first time this league. | Upgrade path for no-HH Self-Curse BV Posted: 01 Nov 2020 07:17 AM PST I was inspired to try no-headhunter self-curse BV occultist by the post last week from u/ALannister. I primarily did this because I've never tried self-curse and it sounded like an interesting and fun mechanic to learn. So far, it's been great. I made a couple changes to the posted build, to get three inspired learning jewels and use herald of purity to help with physical scaling. I was able to get this build up and running for about 30ex and am able to very quickly do juiced T16/15 Zana delirium maps, getting 40-60 splinters each. POB: https://pastebin.com/XphYL6uR I would like to use this build to farm up for a headhunter and feel that a few upgrades may be needed to get up to farming T17 delirium maps. However, I am conflicted about spending currency on big ticket items, like Shackles of the Wretched with elemental weakness on hit corruption or an expensive circle of anguish, without knowing if the cost will be offset by substantially better farming ability. But, i've gathered some currencies, and for the first time, i'm considering myself as "rich" in PoE: i've 1k chaos orbs and 24 exs; wich never happened before. And for the first time, i hit lvl 97, i often stop at lvl 95 by dying too much So now, i wonder what can i improve to my builds and / or my passives. Here is my PoB, but i don't know if that PoB is properly setup to show my "true" DPS : I've took a look on poe-ninja, some people plays with an asenath's chant, with ed/cont/soulrend socketed in. My current helmet is nice, i guess, with 40% TR damage, but i wonder if the changement is worth or not. | Posted: 01 Nov 2020 08:44 AM PST I have played the game for many years now and love it. Started with a poison BV build and now playing around with a shrapnel ballista character. I'm able to clear most content in the game including delirious T15 maps. I have never had a headhunter but would love to have one. Yesterday I started by opening a T15 Burial Chambers with Nemisis (via the map device) and chancing 45 Ancient Obs that I had. I didn't have high hopes and was unlucky. Then I ran 60 T15 Burial Chambers in a row. All were chiseled to 20%, alched to be rare, I made almost all of them to be above 80% but I didn't corrupt them. I made sure I was using sextants on my map, focusing on ones that gave extra monsters. The first 10 or so maps I used a delirium orb on them (20% to spread them out) until those were used up. For about 20 maps I used up all my scarabs that made sense (divination, breach, shaper, elder, etc) and then put in the regular sacrifice fragments for the rest. For about half of the maps I put on the Nemesis mod at the map device and for delirious maps I put on Alva. I used Einhar for the rest. After 60 maps, I had nothing to show. I didn't even get a single exalt orb. There was a fair bit of currency and I had a few 30c items drop (the archon shield fell twice) and one amulet that I picked up that appears to be worth about 3 ex (hasn't sold yet). I have never tried grinding for a headhunter before. Is this what I should expect or am I really unlucky? I figured I would have got at least one Doctor's card... maybe two by now. I figured the best way to learn to swim is jump into the deep end so please help me with a build that'll survive the onslaught that will be Ziz's league. | Moving further with Carrion Golems Posted: 01 Nov 2020 03:05 PM PST So this league I finally crunched some PoE properly and am as rich as I have ever been. (Not super rich though 10ex or so). This was all thanks to Carrion Golems. Now since this build has given me so much fun and currency I want to invest into it. But since I am a filthy casual I don't know where to go from here. Things I know already: Animate Guardian is not set up Things I'm not sure about: I swapped Brutality for Damage on Full Life and Grave intentions no one seems to do that. So maybe it's bad?
