    Or even a somewhat weaker start that is good longer term.

    I don't play a whole lot (like 2-3 nights a week at most) so I'd prefer to just have one character I can take my time with and grow through the league and do all content on.

    Help with fulcrum build

    Greetings exiles!
    I've made a (by my standards) pretty nice fulcrum build. It can to T16 maps easily, , is fairly fast if it is able to chill and can face-tank some mini-bosses (minotaur, elder guardians etc...).
    However, i would like to min-max it a bit further. It could use a bit more dps and a bit more sustain to be even tankier. Can you help me?

    I see a lot of people who always seem to play the same things, whether it's a spectre Summoner, a slammer, or just pushing ED/C to the limit. For those of you who one trick a build, what is it about your build you love?

    Toxic Rain Occultist?

    Looking for some inspiration for my last build of flashback I wanted to build something around lioneyes paws, and what I came up with was toxic rain occulist, using the boots to apply 3 curses.

    Looking at PoE ninja for Occultist + Toxic rain doesn't bring up anything, which is usually a bad sign?

    I've made it to 80 so far, done a few red maps and the clear is really great, the auto curse boot idea works great even with the 1 sec cd I dont really feel like it isnt keeping up. The single target is OK, its a toxic rain build so it cant be too bad.

    However the build feels a bit squishy and the worst thing is the regen, anytime Im fighting something I dont kill in ~10 seconds and im getting hit im gonna run out of flask charges and die. I tried to remedy this recently with running a vitality + stone golem and it's definitely an improvement but now im having some mana problems that while im sure I can solve are a bit annoying. My other idea was to maybe change the tree to be able to path down to instant warcry node and use enduring cry, but that really stretches the tree out.

    Also im not sure what the best use of asenaths helm is in this build. Looking at the trickster versions, most are using it to automate Despair, and a guard skill and then something like ED+C or soulrend. I've found that the chaos spells really dont do much, and I dont need the curse automation. So im currently using it for stone golem, steelskin, and automatic wither step.

    Im looking for some help with how im setting up the build defensively (Auras, mechanics like dodge, flasks, life regen/leech etc...), maybe a better tree, its a bit weird coming from witch all the way down to ranger, and maybe some better gem setups in the helm etc...

    Toxic Rain - Pathfinder vs. Trickster

    Hello,

    I'm 99 % going to league start as toxic rain next league assuming no major nerfs.

    I keep getting recommended Pathfinder by so many people. But when I look at the numbers during Heists (both day 1, 2 ,3 and right now) a large majority is playing Trickster (68 to 75 %).

    Is Trickster actually better or what makes it so popular?

    What are the pros/cons of each?

    Poison BV assassin defensive upgrades

    I started Big Ducks' poison BV assassin and together with the insane heist currency generation, it got me pretty far. Done all content almost deathless (SC so doesn't really matter). However, T16 100% delirious maps shred me up pretty quickly.

    I was wondering if there's a way to increase my defenses. I haven't tried a 100% delirious map since I bought my headhunter, but the character would probably die way before I could build up the HH buffs, even with kiting. Maybe replace my explody chest with a kintsugi? Don't know how badly this would affect my clear tho, explode chest is insane.

    Hi, this league I made a Zombiemancer according to this guide https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2642810. I switched some things around. Especially the Cyclon CwC as I can fit more gems into the build with a trigger wand and a shield (also for stats and res).

    I really like the minion playstyle and the strength and tankiness of the build. I killed A4 Sirus (not deathless) and can easily clear T16 maps.

    Still I would like to improve the build. I guess the best way would be even more tankyness as I still rip to Sirus and Shaper/ Elder Guardians.

    Spectres: Carnage Chieftain, Host Chieftain, They of Tul
    AG Loadout: Dying Breath, Leer Cast, Ambush Charge , Southbound Gloves, Victarios Flight

    Are miners worth it?

    Hello exiles. I'm a bit of a noob and have never played a miner, but i always wanted to. Are they reliable league starters? Does one specific kind of miner shine above the others? Is it really easy to solo bosses with it?

    Can someone make Bane a viable endgame skill?

    Bane/Occultist is my favorite skill in the game with all the explosions. Unfortunately it has been alright for mapping and super bad at bossing.

    Is there someone knowledgable enough to make Bane actually strong for endgame without a character costing a billion ex? I just want to play my favorite skill without pressing many buttons and enjoy it in endgame!

    Looking for a build for reaching high level 90s

    I'm looking for a build to start next league that I can use to push up in the high 90s. I've never gotten a character past level 92 or so, and I'd like to try a serious push. I know 100 is a complete slog, I'd like to aim for maybe 97 and then if I still am having fun, I'll keep going. I am typically a pretty casual player but I'd like to dive into this next league more seriously.

    What I'm looking for in this build is something that is:

    Simple playstyle Durable, I don't want to be dying often, ideally at all Fast mapper, so I can just zoom through maps repeatedly

    A good bosser would be a nice touch, but it's not required. I wouldn't have a problem with leveling a separe boss killer.

    I would like to avoid minions if possible, I've played spectres and golems and the playstyle is okay. I'm not completely ruling them out, but I'd prefer something else.

    Spectres- Physical Spell

    As title states, looking into running both Zealotry and Pride for my best build to boost Holy Relic damage, wondering if there are any minions that deal pure/ 50/50 physical damage based spells that would benefit from the overall setup I'm using. I don't know Spectres too well but Kitava Heralds come to mind, although they may be melee only? The main purpose for these Spectre would be boss killing as my clear is sufficient. They will of course be supported by Frenzy/ Power Charges and a minion attack/cast speed and damage weapon.

    Help with a League Start Wander?

    Hello, I tried my first wander (Power Siphon/KB Raider) in heist and loved it, but didn't play it too much simply because I couldn't stand this league. My goal next league is to start a wander and build up currency to get a CI int-stacking wander going. Not sure where to free up passive points since I'm over - bad at knowing what to drop and when. I don't have a problem being super squishy, but 159% life (after 3 7% base jewels) + Crown of the Inward Eye (if I go for that) is with Elusive and Wind Dancer is more than enough imo. Tried to be very conservative with the wand (Just deafening wrath mod, crafted attack speed, and a bit of spell damage since 1 good mod should be doable) and didn't make any other gear so I feel like it's in good shape for a starter.     Looking for CI Gladiator guidance

    One of the main interactions seems to be: 1. stack a lot of armour (including Iron Reflexes, Grace and Determination)

    1. Use Aegis Aurora to get 2% of that Armour on block as ES

    Looking at the ridiculous numbers of Armour they have (usually more than 100k), I am wondering a few things:

    1 how much you'd have to invest to get such a thing going, on the defensive front.

    1. How viable is the dps/clear with which investment?

    2. What would you level this kind of build as?

    3. Is there some guide (forum or youtube) on this?

    Is it viable without headhunter (inspired learning only)?

    TL;DR: How does the game calculate the movement of projectile skills that fire upwards and then land, for the purposes of 1) distance mechanics like Far Shot and Point Blank, and 2) passthrough mechanics like Flame Wall?

    I'm currently trying to theorycraft an Artillery Ballista Chieftain build; the numbers aren't impressive and there's very little to go on in POE.ninja since almost no one seems to play the build. Other than the usual suspects for elemental damage enhancement (EO, EE (albeit hard to fit into a AB build), penetration), and scaling direct attack damage via weapons and flat damage on equipment and jewels, the other main way of scaling projectile damage is by playing with distance mechanics like Far Shot and Point Blank.

    The nodes state that damage is based off the distance travelled (whether proportionately or inversely), but does this distance count only lateral distance from point of firing to point of impact, or does this include the vertical distance travelled by the animation of the skill? The wiki examples only deal with cases where projectiles change direction, like Spectral Throw, and not vertically-travelling projectiles.

    In addition, one other way to increase this damage could be with Flame Wall. If the ballista totem is sitting in Flame Wall during firing, will the arrows count as passing through Flame Wall and therefore gain added damage and apply Flame Wall's debuff on hit?
