Want to try out SSF but suck at gear progression Posted: 19 May 2021 03:33 PM PDT I love the concept of SSF but I am intimidated by the fact I have no idea how to progress gear in this game. I play builds with the mental notes of "cap resists -> mandatory uniques -> ? -> profit". I have never killed end game bosses like A8 Sirus or Uber Elder. Any other witch builds worth doing with lots of money? Posted: 19 May 2021 07:41 PM PDT I started with vortex, got to #2 on the dps leaderboard, swapped to cov ice nova, had insane dps but died often just due to the nature of low life with 6k es. Now I am on an int stacking power siphon wander. The mapping is incredible with kinetic blast and power siphon single target in theory is good, but I absolutely hate aiming and standing still to do damage with barrage. Is there anything else I can do on the witch that will get me over 20m shaper dps and actually be relatively tanky? Am I stretching myself way too thin? First ES build... (SSF) Posted: 19 May 2021 09:22 PM PDT I tried building a CoC VD inquisitor and I'm pretty much stuck at level 89 waiting for any good gear / uniques to drop, which kinda sucks as we all know. I thought that it would be cool to try petrified blood to pick up pain attunement, which led me to a dual life/ES with lots of mana/life reservation, which I thought would work with lots of regen and the inq pious path. My issue (like any build in PoE basically) is that I get one shot out of nowhere and the regen obviously doesn't help. I rely solely on flasks for armor which isn't great but even with everything on I still can't survive in T12+. Any inq / ES experts in the crowd care to help? Need advice for my elemental hit raider Posted: 19 May 2021 02:35 PM PDT Hello, i currently have no option to download PoB due to the home office of my girlfriend and we can not download software on the pc we have at home. I do play on console, so while i can still enjoy PoE i do struggle to see some flaws in my build that are obviously there :D Im quite squishy, which is ok because i play in standart and i guess this build isnt meant to facetank stuff. But my single target/boss damage is horrible. Is there a way that someone could take a look into my build to see what must be changed next? I hope to get better clusters soonish, and i need a better bow. But on console one imprint beast costs like 1 exalt or even more, so it might take a while till im able to craft something decent. My rings need better rolls aswell but other than that i fear my skill tree might be a bit busted. Slow going with harvest and vorici self-farming. Can't afford the cool synthesized belt yet. When you place a jewel with a radius in your skill tree, does it impact everything inside the radius even if you haven't spent a point on it? How do you see the effect? Decided to try an semi shrine build. Posted: 19 May 2021 03:55 PM PDT After finding a blunderbore for the 1st time I decided to try a meme shrine buff build. Couldn't link it and ended up buying a 6 linked one for way more then I'm sure it was worth. Paired it with a Gull helm. Took me a long time to juggle everything around to use it as my only character which I was willing to sacrifice for it was my raider. Went with fivers frost blades build as I liked the onslaught effect paired with the skill. My skill gems are super low as I ran out of currency but I do have a 23% frost blades gem. I'm looking forward to dominion coming back on the map device for more shrines and seeing how I go. I think dominion is overlooked a bit just based upon how many mobs are around the shrines. Here's Gladiator ancestral warchief cyclone impale : https://pastebin.com/KQCHykU9 The idea is to drop some AW totems and let them do their thing, while I'm cycloning my way around to get challenger/frenzy charges, impale, fortify and life leech. Main defense layer is max attack/spell block, with life on block from Testudo and 3 counter-attack skills linked to life gain on hit. Build can go 79/79% block or 75/75% block with bleed, not sure which is better. Can this build work, or is it crap and I'm wasting my time? Any input is appreciated. Assassin BF/BB Late Game Scaling Posted: 19 May 2021 12:18 PM PDT I am following the Ziz ASS BF/BB guide and have farmed up 30ex and gotten pretty comfortable farming T14-16 maps. This is my league start char and I wanted to take this to the next level and really scale into fast mapping and bossing - and am wondering what would be the best next step. Should I dump my 30ex into this char to go further or this more of a league start build that doesn't scale well after a certain point? I've put about 15-20ex and all I really have left other than minor upgrades to gear is getting cluster jewels (will gladly take upgrade recommendations). I have also seen a lot of popularity with the raider version of this build, and it seems like this may be more of the end game BF/BB version?
