    Inquisitor flame slinger I think has awesome potential for 3.16 depending on the patch notes especially when we find out what happens with Fanatacism

    Offense
    - Frenzy + Flame wall/Fireball spell slinger (potentially sharing a 6 link)
    - Fanatacisim buffed Flame Surge for bosses (helmet pseudo 5-6link maybe) -- MOST DEPENDENT ON PATCH NOTE
    - Battlemage for a little extra fireball (+/- flame surge) damage

    Defense
    - Armor based gear, plus max glancing block, hybrid Life/ES
    - New Divine Shield keystone plus a Life- and/or ES- on block shield.
    - ~4 Endurance charges + immortal call, unless can get enough armor later for molten shell to be worth
    - Holy ground for sustaining RF for added spell damage as well as add'l hurt for anyone who gets close
    - Only adding to known defenses for inquisitor builds; should be excellent

    Easy-ish Gear Options

    - Battlemage for wand - Deafening Essence of Anger is equivalent to about 1.5 gem levels for fireball, although flamewall does not benefit. It likely gets outclassed later, but I checked poe trade and T1 or essence fire damage is very cheap on wand with decent additional mods (eg DoT, spell or fire dmg). I see battlemage as more gear flexibility than making us stronger
    - Shadowstitch - life, ES, recovery on kill, self-farmable, and since we're probably running purity of elements the res drawback is meh
    - Crown of Inward eye until elder helm later game
    - Replica Soul Tether for free corrupted soul

    Issues:
    - No idea if this will actually have damage
    - Socket starved
    - New reservation changes may not help with reservation issues with Spellslinger and add'l auras

    Thoughts?

    Dead Reckoning Skele Mage build next step?

    This is great! It comfortably cleans T16 maps and kills conquerors on low budget. I have deviated from the original newbie guide though and now use Spectres and also since the mages are ranged I don't really hit so the following two needs tweaking:

    1. Storm Brand and EE and the Curse on hit in ring just makes no sense, I really am nowhere near an enemy to make these work. what could I use instead for gem, ring and skill points? Removing EE and the 5% life node above Cruel Preparation gets me to another jewel socket but use it for what.
    2. Immortal Call on CWDT makes no sense again because I have Bone Armour on left click. What would be better? Convocation is awesome because I have proximity shield casting spectres so convocating them means if I don't get one shot, I survive. (Especially with the spores around.)
    3. Bonus what spectres are good? I have a defiler and three undying evangelists currently but I don't think I need three...

    Theorycrafting Ignite builds...so far looking lacklustre?

    I know patch notes are not out but so far they have given enough for us to get an approximate ball park especially if you are quite handy with PoB. Trying to get something with decent DPS and moderate defences looks tough.

    I've spent yesterday PoBing quite a few variations and none of them look like they'll be feared/hidden worthy. Even playing around with Firestorm (which looks like it's the biggest winner since I just 2.5x the final number) in multiple variations such as blackflame doesn't produce anything worthy. Wondering how you guys are faring.

    Weird Build request - Side content specialist character for HC?

    Let's say I wanted to pretty much only run Heist, mid-level Delve and Lab.

    What would be the best type of character that could excel at all 3? Initially I thought a classic Impale Champ could do pretty well, but maybe I'd want something with more innate movement speed.

    Help with Arc Ignite

    Hi! I'm trying to create my own build for the first time next league, and I'm starting by messaging around with an idea to try Arc with ignite using Stormfire. Any help is welcome but the main thing I'm struggling with right now is that it just doesn't look like the ignite is worth it, even after I put two medium clusters and a wheel into scaling it. Any ideas?

    (My understanding is that to evaluate that ignite number I should just be multiplying by 2.5 for the change next patch, which is why I'm trying this in the first place).

    [Standard] Quad Herald BV Inquisitor

    Hey folks,

    I love the Herald BV playstyle, and have tried recreating it in leagues every time I've played a league.

    I don't like playing leagues any more, as it's just a pain to have to start from scratch, and if I'm unable to put in enormous hours at the start I just don't feel like I can meaningfully progress, which is why I'm playing Standard, which comes with its own set of difficulties (the economy is honestly painful given the drop rate of valuable items or currencies, and I'm unable to do the best farming strats with my build as it is now).

    The biggest issue I have is that I feel very squishy - I have my ele resists maxed, have positive chaos resists even without Atziri's up (just barely), but if I can't blow up packs immediately or just make a mistake in positioning while bossing I die immediately.

    I don't expect the best bossing out of this build, and I know I can clear almost everything if I just git gud, but the reality is that I'm bad at the game and am relying on stat-checking content, but I am reaching the limit for what I can realistically afford wrt upgrades.

    I would be extremely grateful if any of you could see where I could put some points or buy some upgrades (my current budget is 70ex) that would increase my eHP without lowering my damage too much.

    (Help) Newbie looking for build recommendations

    Hello all! I am a very fresh player, I just started a few days ago and am looking for some help with a picking a build for the upcoming season. With there being so many different builds out there it is difficult to pinpoint exactly what I want to go with, as well as determining what will be viable for leveling and learning more about the game. I'm currently playing a basic ice witch, but I want to switch to a build involving bows or duel weild melee. My little brain is only caring about aesthetically pleasing character builds right now. So honestly anything that looks cool, and is good enough to get me to the endgame is all I am asking for. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out :)

    Long-Standing Mapper and Bosser for Standard?

    Sorry for the boring question, but after getting basically nothing done this league, I realize that I don't have the time and/or will to dedicate to each league, so I'm going to just make a simple mapper and bosser for Standard, in case I ever need to unwind or something. Since they're staying in Standard, what builds would be best for mapping and bossing AND have stood the test of time and GGG's nerfs? If you can provide specific guides or guide-makers, that would help; I don't know who actually knows what they're talking about and who's a know-it-all that thinks white maps are hard, y'know. Before Expedition, I think the last league that I played at all was Legion.

    I'll mostly be mapping probably, so I'd like something that can run simple alched high-tier maps quickly within maybe a 20ex budget, bonus if it works well with HH and can do league content (incursion, heist, delve, maybe even metamorph, etc.). (I don't play the economy, either. It's annoying to sell things without a premium tab.) I know that ED/C Trickster has survived a lot of leagues, and I've league-started with it a few times. I'm not fond of hitting packs and having those few monsters survive because they were stranded, but maybe I just need to invest in more AoE. Plus the Ghost Dance change next league might change the Ascendancy of choice, but I guess that wouldn't change too much. I liked Tornado Shot when I tried Bowzerker a while back, especially basically shooting around corners. I see Toxic Rain (I think) come up a lot, too, but I've never tried it. A mapper doesn't need to be that tanky, right? So next league's changes shouldn't mess these up too much?

    For bossing, I see Glacial Cascade Mines (I think) Saboteur come up a lot, so I'm guessing that's survived for a while. I think Double Strike has come up a bit, too, especially with its Vaal version, but meleeing a boss that I don't know sounds dangerous. I've never fought Sirus but did manage Uber Elder back in Legion, so a not-squishy build would help with learning, but it's not necessary at all (especially with the changes coming next league). It would probably still help since I'd probably want to use the bosser for Delve bosses and other league contents, and dying on the way there would suck. I did play Forbidden Rite Totems this league (after basically failing two memey builds), but with how popular it was and how new it is, I'd rather not rely on it surviving the next few leagues.

    Defense Changes and Hollow Palm

    From my limited understanding of all the new defense changes, it seems like hollow palm might be stronger defensively with all the innate dex/evasion and possible access to block improvements. Oh wise players, please provide your insight so I may theory craft with the appropriate emotions

    CoC Power Siphon + Glacial Cascade Triple Herald Elementalist

    Hello guys! I 've already started theorycrafting for 3.16, I know that things are going to be vastly different but I can't help but mess around with PoB and create various builds.

    I 've been messing with CoC ever since I started messing with pob and one thing I don't like with CoC builds is that your trigger skill doesn't do damage. This build solves this issue and divides the damage between the trigger skill and the spell, so both your main skills do equally substantial damage.

    In this build, I'm taking advantage of certain key passive and ascendancy nodes, as well as certain skill gems and gearing options to bolster my dps significantly and give the build its colour, while obtaining certain offensive and defensive features.

    I would talk in specifics, but it's just too many thing to talk about. I think it would be better to have a look at my pob. Here's the link:

    [3.15] LF help with Cyclone Slayer

    After getting enough currency to buy an HH, I wanted to make a build that could farm maps with it, but I'm struggling with map survivability & boss DPS. Tried to imitate poe.ninja for Cyclone HH Slayers where I could.

    Only my first league, so not super familiar with melee/weapon scaling & the skill tree.

    Questions:

    1) What are good HH builds in 3.15 that don't require 100+ ex investment beyond HH?

    2) What are the flaws in my current build?

    3) What can I do to improve/fix the build? Budget: 40-50 ex

    4) What are the "macro" archetypes for Cyclone and what support gems do they use?

    5) How does one craft boots with 3 movement mods

    6) For a low investment, what's the best exalted orb slam for my helm?

    Is cobra lash bad, or am I bad?

    Hi everyone! I decided to start a cobra lash build towards the end of this league, and it's omega-fun to me, with really satisfying clears and chains between packs (really gets that serotonin-a flowin')

    The only problem is my single target is truly laughable. I've seen some people running cobra lash many leagues ago but can't find any kind of guide for 3.15, and the only person on poeninja to follow appears to do some kind of convert to cold build?

    Does anyone have any advice to get better single target / a skill for single target use, or is there a skill that works similarly to cobra lash (specifically the chaining + explosions with herald of ice) that is more meta?

    Just getting sick of playing the same minion builds but never getting past yellow maps lol want something a bit more interesting but still kind of a "1 button style" of gameplay

    quick edit for context: I'm currently at blood aqueduct, and while i can one shot whites and 2 shot blues, yellows take like 10-15 depending on mods and takes a lot of kiting to kill, and im struggling to kill bosses in the campaign (usually turning into multiple minute ordeals with many deaths)

    2hsword glad with Iron Fortress questions

    Hey, do you know if Vengeance and Riposte work with 2h swords? Also, what happens if something would be both Lucky and Unlucky (i am planning a 2h sword block based glad with Iron Fortress and there was some info about glad's Versatile Combatant becoming something like "Your Chance to Block is Lucky", which with Iron Fortress could potentially cause the second interaction.)

    LF Fast build for master mission farm

    Title. I have gazillion maps on STD. I want burn them all and get some master missions. I don't care about mobs and loot. Which build would be best for run-kill-boss-repeat? Mostly T1-T10 maps, if build can do T11-T13 it would be perfect!
