I was really only playing cyclone since it seemed to be the go to so now I am looking for recommendations on what to play now? | Posted: 06 Apr 2020 10:38 PM PDT Hello all, played a marauder chieftain (Righteous Fire) to 83 and most recently a duelist slayer (various impale cyclone variants) to 90 this league. Not thrilled at the idea of re running the whole campaign again right away, unless there is something that can obviously overpower maps and clear high reds like butter. I could do that, if I had a recommended build that was proven to fly. Cant seem to plan well enough to have more than 600kdps while still not surviving. Horrible feeling watching your supposedly killer cyclone just bouncing off Al-haziri or others without a dent and getting one or two shotted shortly after. Both were fairly smooth mappers until bosses, or delves last 50. Any up to date builds that use marauder or duelist that can help me farm T16 easily? Ideally I'd like to respec inside those instead of going fresh this time. I have invested money in some gear, notably Starforge, paradoxica, kaoms heart, devoto's devotion, and carnage heart to start from. Lots of other rares and uniques kicking around waiting for sale. Liquid currency is about 30ex and 200 chaos. Mapping and breach till 90 went well, now I've sputtered out. I really want to chase this league to the end and my builds so far we're lacking either damage for bossing or survivability (lots of one-shots after T13). I've gone through many Poe guide links and builds and generally I'm either implementing them wrong or they don't perform as advertised. This is my first league from start, so please assume I'm open to every possible assistance. Please, wise sherpas, direct me on my path. Anything killer in either the marauder or duelist specs will be tried! At this point respeccing is starting to be second nature lol. [link] [comments]  | ||

| LF SSF-ish Skelly guide/tips for endgame Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:13 AM PDT I just hit maps. My char is running Skellies, meat-shield zombies, chieftain ape spectes and used infernal SRS. That was fun in Acts, but it's time to focus. I'm curious about moving to cyclone+relic - probably dropping the SRS to make space. My gear/tree is so bad there's probs no point in linking it - probs have to respec everything and farm all new gear anyway. Most guides I find assume you can buy great gear, but running SSF-ish means I'll have to improvise. And I'd love to try out some cluster gems (if I can get a usable medium one to drop!). I'm looking for tips/guide that explain the build (rather than just a pob dump). TLDR; looking for guide/tips on 3.10 skelly+relic necro for SSF-ish. [link] [comments]  | ||

Was looking around for some fun builds to play and decided on this one. I've been following it and i must say i am having alot of fun with it. Im clearing t12 maps rn for some steady exp. However gear wise i am a bit stuck since i got the items that the build recommends but because of my lack of build/items knowlege, i dont know which item i should upgrade next. | Can my Lacerate Glad be saved? Posted: 07 Apr 2020 02:11 AM PDT Hi guys, I'm kind of stuck .. I don't feel my build is really all that good anymore. The damage is okay, but I have serious problems staying alive. It seems I'm just not good enough at dodging. There are a lot of oneshots that are getting me. I tried my first Sirus this League - even unsocketed all watchstones for A0 - still no chance against him (95% my fault for failing to dodge tbh). I'm following Esoro's Lacerate Gladiator guide, and am seriously considering either changing into full block or even a completely new character. The problem is, that farming is hard, as I only get to about 4/2 delirium rewards on T15 maps, so currency is scarce at about 6ex, 450c. Also I'm stuck on lvl 91 for about 18+ hours ingame, as I can't seem to not die once in a while. Could any of you take a look at my Glad and help me improve? Or tell me what and where I need to respec? If the build isn't able to be saved, can you guys recommend a tanky build that's able to do endgame content? Doesn't have to be top tier damage/clear speed - just not dying for a while would be great. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]  | ||

Just hit red maps but still have a few questions. I've heard streamers talk about not having to recast and only using recall; how is this achieved?(I currently have it linked to a 20/20 2nd wind but still have to recast occasionally) Do you ever need to recast if you have max brands? Do more brands increase single dps or just clear? Is there such thing as to many Fevered Mind jewels? If possible what is the best stat for damage scaling?(Mana cost, spell damage, lightning damage, etc) Recommend 6 link support gem setup? [link] [comments]  | ||

| HoPurity Guardian or Golemancer? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 09:58 AM PDT Going for a build that can do most challenges (36/40), tanky, average or better dps, and low stress/low attention required. I've seen a few people saying dual Cold Iron Point Stone golemancer is super strong, mindless, tanky with tons of regen. About 1000hp/sec just from the golems. HoP Guardian seems similar but less regen and you need to kill to summon. Just trying to get an idea for differences in the build and how they feel/play before I invest another 12 hours leveling a character only to play them for 10 maps before finding out some mechanic that turns me off to them. In the past 10 days I've tried:
I took a CA Trickster to about 120 map completion/awakener 4 in the first 2 weeks, and have made almost zero progress since then. I clearly have alt problems. I started looking at something new this morning (VD Necro Spellsplinger which shows a lot of promise, but a lot of people said they ran into a wall at red-tier maps), when I realized what I really want is to get the challenges done this league, have low deaths, and low stress. | How can I keep improving my survival chances? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 12:21 PM PDT Right now I'm lvl85 4kHP, Hiero Dark Pact Totems that easily rush T11 maps. But now I started to fight the T12, T13, T14 maps, their bosses and awakeners and I'm dying between one and three times per map. I don't know what am I doing wrong to be honest, I'm relative new to the game so I may be wrong. Could you spare me some advice? I had a lot of time to play so I decided to farm for HH for the first time and got it just now. I don't think it would really work with spectres so I am asking you for recommandations for a HH build for my next character. What am I looking for? Something that feels good to play and doesnt punish me for less than perfect execution. Maping shouldnt be problem with HH so I would like the build to be a good boss killer and tanky as well. (T14+ Maps) Posted: 06 Apr 2020 05:08 PM PDT That's basically the title, what can i do here to improve on this very fun build, that carried me from SSF LS, to the point where i am right now (about to trigger AWK 1 lul) on T14/15 maps. The damage was fine up till yellow tier maps, then i placed the char on trade league, and bought a Six linked Loreweeb, and that carried me all the way till now. But, on T14 Conqueror fights, the damage dropped off by a lot, and it also doesn't help that i'm getting clapped easily but Delirium and the Conqueror themselves. I'm a semi-newbie but i've always played with build guides and such, this spellslinger/VD combo is the first time i actually planned something that worked pass ACT10 (lul), and is really fun, i don't want to drop this char right now... :,| [link] [comments]  | ||

| New Player that needs some help Posted: 06 Apr 2020 09:44 PM PDT So I'm a pretty new player, only been playing around a week. I recently beat the story and have been kind of lost as to what I should do next. My character is a level 70 Witch and my passive skill tree is the one in Enki's Arc Witch listed below https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1147951 I got an Exalted Orb drop early on and for gear I have a 5 slotted and linked Ambu's Charge, a 6 slot 4 linked staff and some other gear that helps a bit with my health and resistances. I have 121 Chaos in the bank and could squeeze a bit more out if I sold some stuff. I guess I'm just a little overwhelmed on what to do next. What are my upgrade paths? Do I farm for a specific drop? How do I do that? Do I farm currency and buy gear on the market place? Is this build I'm looking to follow a good choice for me?
