    Whats this "scion aura stacking build" I keep seeing, and is it still possible? Also are there any scion wander builds this league?

    I realy love being an aura bot, but I also want to use my own skills to attack, preferably with wands. I've seen people mention aura stacking in 3.11 with scion for damage, how exactly does that build work? Are they using their auras to buff themselves up with something like ichimonji? Are they just using so many auras that the auras outweigh and actual regular non-aura stacking build?

    Speaking of wands, can anyone recomend me a scion wander build? Preferably with elemental hit. I just can't seem to find any for this league

    Blazing Salvo - AoE

    Does anyone know how the skill interacts with aoe? Does it increase its single target damage? I went hiero totems and I must say for the investment in damage, it feels very lackluster.

    I went crit, I went soul mantle, I have a 6L, invested like nothing into defense - expected to pretty much oneshot guardians at awalevel 1 but i still have to dance around them a bit - which is bad for the skill because the projectiles are slow - so when the boss moves they start to miss a lot and the fights get even longer.

    I could really use some help with scaling the damage correctly as i already play scuffed version by playing with soul mantle and doing t10 maps with uncapped resists thanks to curses :D

    Or do would you recommend to switch to a different skill? Maybe GC?

    How was your league start? What did you learn for next time?

    I rolled an Ice Crash Juggernaut. Numerically it looked veeryy good, but I didnt consider the steps it took to get there. Leveling process was mega rough because you go melee (and on top of that marauder leveling seems very rough) and then you go elemental damage, which is resisted by monster ele resist. Felt awful all the way through. Managed to get my hands on a ryslathas coil super early somehow, but now Im just...rerolling out of trade and chilling in SSF going lacerate glad. Doesnt require any uniques, just a decent weapon and some levels and some patience for you to get attack speed.

    So I learned a few things:

    Marauders not the best for leveling. Melee elemental damage feels like you are hindering yourself until you get meaningful resist penetration or reduction.

    Most importantly, two things are going to carry me far. 1) Choose a traditional, well known build. 2) Think about the journey of your build. Are you resist starved? Are you damage starved until you get a 6L or until you get a specific item?

    I have re-rolled at least 3x before level 40 because I can't decide on a league starter, so far nothing really feels good for the heist mechanic and my character just gets obliterated.

    Looking for something with high survivability and smooth leveling. I generally dislike builds with low single target damage, and I refuse to play mines or toxic rain again. You can't make me.

    Has anyone tried blade flurry yet in 3.12?

    I saw in the patch notes that they claim to have fixed the name-locking issue in blade flurry and a few other skills that seemed to be acting strangely. BF is my favorite melee skill and it always seemed great for bossing but some of the mapping was more awkward with the name-locking. I always like to roll a build that is strong at bossing and at least "pretty ok" at mapping after getting an economy character set up. Just wondering if anyone had tried it yet in 3.12 and got it to maps yet.

    ED-C Spellslinger still viable?

    Hey guys,

    i really like the visuals and overall style of ed-c (massive clear, insane regen, dot [cast once and dodge everything for a few seconds while still doing dmg]).

    I played selfcast ED-C in the past and it felt ok. Started in heist now and i really cant stand the slowish two-button playstyle. In the past leagues, ed-c spellslinger was viable (i think?!).

    Now with 3.12, and the spellslinger nerfs, can we still build a viable ed-c spellslinger? Does it have to be LL due to mana reservation issues (cant fit malevolence or any other right now - leveling, no mana reservation nodes, 5l ed, 3l c).

    Would a 100% Lightning to Chaos Damage Conversion Spark build work in 3.12?

    I found that spark has an alternate quality that gets you 40% lightning to chaos damage conversion. That with Voltaxic Rift can get that up to 100%. Would that be a good or bad build?

    Crit -cold res Hexblast occultist with 2 clear videos

    Hi, I wanted to create a build with the brand new heist skill called Hexblast. In this thread I will be listing the problems I encountered and how I solved them.

    *Lack of damage during leveling*

    I originally leveled with ED contagion prior to getting the sufficient gems for Hexblast and to my demise Hexblast is a god awful skill by itself, you are required passive point investment in the new doom nodes for it to even function which made leveling a chore due to the initial lack of passive points early on. This problem was solved by simply going back to my good old friend ED contagion until I had all of the new curse passives.

    *Clunky to use, too many inputs required for "optimal" damage*

    I tried to tackle this problem by linking elemental weakness with blasphemy to reduce the amount of curse I'd have to self-cast by 1 but this greatly gimped my damage due to elemental weakness not benefiting from doom so I dropped this idea. I also tried to blasphemy elemental weakness, frostbite and casting Hexblast without doom but the damage wasn't there. This problem was never really solved but I tried to grant myself more comfort while playing by getting more cast speed and it worked.

    *Transitioning into crit*

    Now, making a crit build with a spell that has a 4% base crit chance is torture. First I did going into crit was dropping controlled destruction for inc crit, It made the spell a bit more managable. Next, I wanted to add assassin's mark into my build due to the amount of curse effect we have, we get a fat flat crit chance as well as crit multi bonus from it. I did this by buying a pair of vixen's entrapment later down the line and slotting assassin's mark into it, this allowed me to cast assassin's mark whenever I would cast a curse skill which was a huge Qol buff.

    *Defenses*

    Not much to say, Im running temp chains + enfeeble on blasphemy and went hybrid instead of pure life. Unfortunately hexproof mobs are bugged atm, even with profane bloom my blasphemy curses wont work on them.

    *Lack of clear speed and single target damage*

    My clear speed + single target was god awful, I solved the clear speed problem by linking frostbite and ele weakness with spell cascade and intensify. This allowed me to mark packs more effectively and even offscreen some mobs.

    My single target problem was solved by understanding the skill and comboing correctly. How hexblast functions is that it always consumes the curse with the most doom stacks. To get optinal single target damage you'll need to curse the target with frostbite and ele weakness, cast hexblast, cast frostbite, cast hexblast, cast elemental weakness... This will allow hexblast to always trigger doom at maxstacks.

    Conclusion

    I will be testing the skill further with different combinations to see what feels the best. For now, Im using a wand with fire damage to spells to automate elemental equilibirum and vixen's entrapment to automate assassin's mark. I chose eye of malice as my helmet due to the cold exposure automation and not having to manually cast frostbomb helped my enjoyment of playing this build heaps. The unique passive of the helmet: "nearby enemies have 50% increased fire and cold resistances" in this case works in our favor due to the power of our curses and elemental equilibrium it brings the enemies negative res even lower.

    Looking for build ideas with fewer button clicks

    Hello! I need to use only my mouse hand for periods of time during play and I am looking for a new build. Last league I played a totem build which was good, and this league I rolled a carrion golem build. Unfortunately the gear for this build is way more expensive than I thought it would be. I have about 3 ex so far i can invest. I am liking heist a lot and would like to split time between heists and maps.

    Thanks if you have any pointers to finding a build that's easy on my left hand.

    Fire BV Cheiftain Gearing Progression / Tips

    Hi just wanted how the gearing progression for BV Cheiftain goes pre-explode chest (I personally dont like the asenaths globe). I've read that the clear wont be as good until i get either of the items mentioned above which are quite expensive early on in the league.

    Currently following ESORO's guide as template for the build but I didn't go deep when you use the explode chest route.

    I'm still early in my map progression just want to know what to aim / save for.

    Blazing salvo miner - need help

    I've started with Akane's Ascendant miner, but with Blazing salvo as mine skill. Now I'm stuck. T5 maps are barely doable, 70+ lvl Heists hurt alot. Is there some cheap and efficient upgrades right now? I know I wont be able to afford 6L Cloack of Defiance of Indigon fast, so I need some strategy to cary myself to higher content. Would appreciate any help.
