In defence of the texture streaming Posted: 26 Apr 2021 12:15 PM PDT (Sorry the post may take a while to load) I really like how it simulates the experience of getting glasses for the first time in your life. From a blur of nonsense to a crisp icon in just a couple of seconds! Just enough time to get completely destroyed by whatever is on the screen. It has to be one of the best gaming experiences of all time whenever you open your inventory or go to your hideout for the millionth time and the game decides to load all assets again. Complaint: Removing the Perandus Coin -> Wisdom Scroll Vendor Recipe just feels spiteful Posted: 26 Apr 2021 07:45 AM PDT Portal Scrolls and Wisdom Scrolls already feel like a dated concept in general but they weren't as much of a nuisance when you would basically get them for free. PSA: Empowerment Shrine upgrades ADJACENT rooms, not "connected" Posted: 26 Apr 2021 09:19 AM PDT I hear this all the time (most recently in a video guide about incursion). Empowerment Shrine (the one that upgrades the tier of other rooms) upgrades adjacent rooms, not connected. Tiers 1 and 2 will randomly choose the rooms around the empowerment room regardless of the connections. (Unconfirmed) Tier 3 room will upgrade all the rooms around the empowerment room regardless of the connections. 6 attempts at Maven in a row. Textures for the brain phases bosses and ground degens never loaded into any of them. Posted: 26 Apr 2021 04:48 AM PDT Its on me for being stupid and figuring eventually maybe the game would function so yes the last several hundred chaos were on me for banging my head against the wall on purpose but I just ran 6 Mavens trying to get the last two points I need my center tree and the textures never loaded in any of the fights. Each run made but the last it into the last maven phase post memory game and in all 6 runs I literally could not tell you what 3 bosses spawned. The bosses or textures for any of there attacks never showed up except once the I did see the Rigwald's black spray attack even though Rigwald still was invisible. Also very conveniently projectiles that make ground degen never showed up and 90% of the time the degens themselves did not. ​ I'm really trying to engage with the game this league and I'm trying to have fun but the fact that texture streaming is still in the game in the state its in is an absolute embarrassment and is rending end game boss fights unplayable. submitted by /u/Bubba42124 [link] [comments]

PSA: There's been a hotfix for the Windows Update that bricked game performance Posted: 26 Apr 2021 01:41 AM PDT https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/mxkl9a/microsoft_issues_emergency_fix_for_gaming/ This update pretty much fixed most of my performance issues as I did not roll back the update. Whats wrong with Tier 4 Seeds in Harvest? Posted: 26 Apr 2021 07:57 AM PDT I farmed over 100 atoll maps with the node that increases the chance to see tier 4 seeds by %100 and also a watchstone that gives extra chance to grow higher tier plants. Never saw any tier 4 seeds so far. Compared to last league, according to patch notes nothing changed about the rarity of the tier 4 seeds. They still give craft guaranteed if they actually spawn in patches, but they dont. Last league we had %10 chance to encounter harvest, and i personally saw many tier 4 seeds, i remember those because especially the yellow boss that goes invisible was total cancer. This league we have %100 chance to encounter harvest thanks to zana mod in map device, but i saw 0 in 100 maps. Whats going on with that? If anything we should see tier 4 seeds 10 times more.
