Steelmages SST bleed gladiator not as solid as steel? Posted: 04 Aug 2021 01:24 AM PDT Was playing enkis ball lightning hierophant, switched to steelmages sst build from ZiZ's video, in the video it exclaimed it is extremely tank and safe even with subpar gear. I'm either really stupid or this build isn't as good as it was laid out to be. I die a LOT on yellow maps, and sometimes cannot complete fights in citadels for watchstones. Have a 2.6k armor colossal shield, res cap and 4.5k hp yet I die from the littlest of hits. If anyone has experience with this build please give me tips on how I can fix it. Ice Trap Sab - Worth Investing? Posted: 03 Aug 2021 08:42 PM PDT Hey guys, Like a large portion of the player base, I league started with Tripolarbear's Ice Trap Sab and ran into quite a bit of luck for my playtime. I managed to get a cheap 6L Tinkerskin and I've got about 16 EX left. The goal for the league is to comfortably clear high reds and some late game bosses, and I'm just getting ready to transition to Slavedriver's and possibly Pandemonius. So far, if I make a stupid mistake or I play reckless, then yes, I'll die, but other than that it has seemed fine and I enjoy the play style. However, I've noticed the meta shifting quite hard off of Ice Trap and even quite a few of the key upgrades are dropping pretty quickly in price (Tinkerskin dropped 1EX in 24 hours). My question is - would it still be worth it to invest in Ice Trap, or am I better off just spending currency on something more not necessarily 'league-start'. My worry here being the jump from mid game -> late game being too high of an investment for the return in this meta. It appears The Porcupine is a very rare card that is not worth the time, and it also seems they adjusted Imperial Legacy drops to only level 80+ desert maps meaning I can't farm in Vastiri Desert anymore. What have you all done to get your 6L bows? If I am going to be farming desert tileset maps at 80+/farm Porcupine maps, how do I set things up to sustain the right maps and can I get to the necessary tier on a +2 gems 5 link bow? What is your auto flask setup now? Posted: 03 Aug 2021 07:49 AM PDT I am about to hit lvl 90 without using flasks at all really because I am a dumb person. Going to rectify that tonight. I see a lot of discussions on perma flask pathfinder but what are you normies using for your auto setups? Obviously you want to tick off the basics like bleed, burn, chill and curse but are you putting them on specific flasks for a reason or are you using the adjacent modifiers cleverly? [SSF] What's a better endgame summoner build: Soulwrest or Syndicate Operatives? Posted: 04 Aug 2021 12:25 AM PDT Hello, I'm playing in SSF. I've rolled a necromancer since I've managed to drop myself a Soulwrest and I've just started maps. So far I'm following Grimro's build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRBPPhvXn4w I've managed to drop some cluster jewels I can craft, but I've started wondering if this is my endgame build, as I'd like to have a summoner capable of doing everything up to Feared. Hence the question if Soulwrest is maybe just my level-up build, and maybe I'll just switch to Syndicate Operatives following either Kay's or Ghazzy's build. Items I've secured that will be probably used by both builds: 4G Triad Grips (that took waaaay too long to drop this league) Jinxed Juju to start For the Soulwrest build I've got Soulwrest Victario's Influence Hungry loop for the Zombies setup - but I need to level up support gems first, this will take a bit For Syndicate Operatives I've secured: Syndicate Operative spectre on my spectre bank toon (kinda important :) ) Kingmaker for Animate Guardian! (so happy about this) - but I don't have a Mask of the Stitched Demon and might not get one, cause SSF Devouring Diadem (with 35 str/dex!) Bones of Ullr with +1 to socketed gems corrupt Elder influenced Two-Toned Boots that I might craft towards +1 to Spectres and drop Ullr leveled up Animate Guardian and Summon Spectre gems (ready to corrupt) Stuff I'm generally missing: Darkness Enthroned belt (I've spent over a 100c for Zana Abyss mod, no luck) Decent cluster jewels +1 Spectre body armour Last time i've played a SO Summoner was like 2 nerfs ago, so I guess I'm just looking for some confirmation, that it's a smart choice to invest my resources into them. submitted by /u/the_elmo [link] [comments]
