50 chaos build challenge Posted: 01 May 2020 10:21 AM PDT Last league I made a post for a 10 chaos build challenge which got pretty popular with lots of great suggestions. This time we're back with a similar challenge, but due to the league being a bit more juicy both in terms of currency drops and required build strength it felt appropriate to increase the budget to 50c. Not an unreasonable amount by any means. Moreover we now have cluster jewels which allow for much more build variety, but are almost impossible to fit within a 10c budget. A few things can be considered free: 20/0 gems 3c or less oils (anything at or below Black/Crimson) 4-links + coloring is free (unless the base is completely wrong, such - as requiring 4 off-colors) 20% quality (except gems) Crafted non-unique flasks Crafts at or below 2c (per item) Blessed orbs Moreover: Try to summarize the essential skills and mechanics in your post (example). You don't have to make/play the character (for the sake of simplicity), but it should be clear from the PoB/mechanics that it's viable in terms of offence, defense and clear. All items must be found on pathofexile.com/trade (click bottom left to copy to PoB). Either write the item costs in PoB (as part of its name) or specify in your submission. The build should be level 90 or below. Items bought for non-chaos currency should be converted to chaos. Consider if the item(s) you have used is being price fixed or not (i.e. it cannot be bought for the listed price). Good luck! Question about deep delver builds Posted: 01 May 2020 07:53 AM PDT First of all English not my first language so I apologize if your brain will accidentally start melting from reading this. Not so long ago, deep delving got my attention, walls abuse, 200 hp builds, the number of deaths is much more than the depth and other fun things. Thinking right now about to allocate about 100-150ex (not outstanding budget in Delirium, but who knows what awaits us in the next league) to try something like Icicle Miner or Ice Shot, but I don't even know their pros and cons, would be very grateful if someone share a PoB or even a full guide about this. Also is it a good idea starting league with Deadeye, making some currency on hosting breaches for example and by reaching 95-97 lvl go delving? What's the most fun build while leveling? Posted: 30 Apr 2020 10:21 AM PDT Now obviously this is entirely subjective, but I'm a chronic reroller and thought I'd look for some opinions. I've enjoyed a lot of builds that duct kick in til 70+, ones that need complete respecs etc. But I'm now thinking, what gives the most enjoyable leveling experience with standard leveling gear (budget <1 ex)? Help with defenses on a meme build Posted: 01 May 2020 12:53 AM PDT My friend has been doing a spell vomit bow cast on crit build. It has been able to clear t16s well enough, but it gets one shot very often. I want to rework the build to be able to survive simulacrums and end game bosses, but Im at a loss for how to work in a layered defense. The build as it is in this PoB has some obvious flaws in it, such as no resists, crafted life and low accuracy, but those can be easily fixed anyway so Im not worrying about them. What to do agaisnt stuns/slows as Herald Stacker? Posted: 30 Apr 2020 02:11 PM PDT So what can you do against the (Delirium) slows and the stuns if you are stupid enough to run into a mob group, assuming you don't use Skyforths. In other builds I have travel skills, that get me out of the slows pretty fast, but here you need every gem slot. Outside ot slows I am fast enough, but yeah they are pretty annoying. Help with CoC build LvL75 Posted: 30 Apr 2020 07:01 PM PDT Still trying to speed through leveling when i got time, but i'm currently working towards Throatseeker and some life nodes in the tree. Also gonna grab Deadly Infusion for my last two ascendancy points. However my crit chance for cyclone is still pretty low and my dodge feels low too. I'm not very good at crafting so any pointers and how to improve my gear would be great. Also i was wondering if it would be worth to try and fit a cluster jewel into this build? Also I can't consistently proc my cold spells mostly due to lower crit chance but i also read somewhere the my attack speed with cyclone needs to be under a certain amount? How do I tell whether my theory crafts are viable? Posted: 30 Apr 2020 02:57 PM PDT I have played PoE since legion and have lurked here for a while, but wanted to ask for help. I have used build guides for all my past builds, but I love to theory-craft builds. I often have trouble determining if those build would be viable or not. What numbers should I look for when theory-crafting for the following metrics. EHP Defensive Layers (Armor and Evasion) DPS for Clear and Bossing The other thing I have trouble with is determining if an item is realistic or not when working in PoB.
